“Ye Olde Cock Tavern is one of many classic, historic English pubs located on Fleet Street and is a must visit for any exploration of the area. The evening walk down Fleet Street is a beautiful walk for photographers, and Ye Olde Cock is conveniently located for a refreshing stop or bite to eat. Like nearly every old pub in London, Ye Olde Cock Tavern was reputedly frequented by the likes of prodigious drinker and sometimes author, Charles Dickens. A Greene King Pub, it has the standard offerings of beer, ales and classic pub food. During the lunch-time break and immediately after working hours it gets very crowded with barristers and magistrates due to its close proximity the The Royal Courts of Justice, but the crowds subside in the evenings. Service is outstanding and the staff is friendly. My wife and I enjoyed a great gin & tonic and meal. I had the Steak and Ale Pie and she had the Fish and Chips, which were both quite good. Highly recommended!”

“The barbers are very professional. The hair was cut to the length I wanted and I am very pleased for this, the fade was very clean and there's an option for a scissor-cut which comes free of charge. The haircut costs £10 which is affordable but the lad is experienced and you won't regret going there. TIP: (this goes to any barbershop) if you feel like your barber cuts your hair too short, instead of telling them SHOW them the length you want to cut your top without expressing it through brief and vague signs and/or sentences such as 'cut half an inch' or 'an inch' because they will cut it too short most of the time (from my experience), nevertheless when I got my hair cut it felt like I was communicating well with him on what I wanted so I recommend people to come here, also don't be afraid to SHOW how shorter you want your hair to be cut because it is cut too long or short at the end.”
