The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. I started with khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), and it was delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. “Really good, old school pub. No pretence, no nobs, no shoreditch type helmets. A locals pub it seems, subtle art deco styling inside. Hasn't been refurbished in years and all the better for it. Well priced beers too, a few ales on tap and the regular lagers. Went in on a random Tuesday, they had an open mic poetry night on. Actual people speaking, listening and not engrossed in their phones”

“Above and beyond . . . Last Saturday I ordered a takeaway Jalfrezi and a Meat Thali. Delivery was within the hour (even on a busy evening). I found that there were various dishes but wasn't sure that it was a Thali, which is one of my favourites from the Longfield Tandoori. I phoned to ask if the Thali menu had changed. I wasn't complaining, but with no hesitation they apologised and sent a traditional Thali straight away, which arrived in minutes. I've been a customer here for over ten years, but this was exceptional. Once again, many thanks!”

“Ordered twice now, both times have been extremely delicious. The chicken strips and wings are amazing, you can taste that they are grilled and have a tasty piri piri sauce. The pizza, wow, I couldn't stop eating it. I prefer this pizza over some of the large brand companies! I also like how the toppings don't dictate how much the pizza costs.
