“The coffee and the texture of the oat milk in my flat white was flawless. I love the interior design and the beautiful cups, plus the staff are friendly and served the coffee with a smile! The location is ideal next to the river, and my dog was welcome too. The only downside is that the tables/ space are quite cramped. I wouldn't recommend sitting in - after all, less than 100m down the road are benches by the river.”

The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. Nice place to watch the world go by just up the road from the cemetery which is a must do walk. Staff kind, all the croissants and cakes and biscuits taste good and the things they sell in the shop like niche chocolate, cards and sauces and key chains and cups are always lovely. We bought a bag of their chocolate coffee for home and went to get more and sold out even though £12 would buy again. Lovely staff always friendly especially to dogs have a little water bowl and treats and my little 3 year old loves going there. Really nice atmosphere and pretty year round. Top place”
