“Both my kids attend this nursery and I am very happy with their care over the past 3 years. The staff are very invested in the children's development and happiness. There are structured activities (like circle time, story time, crafts and writing etc). The updates are regular (via the website Tapestry). I highly recommend this nursery.”

“I first visited the nursery on its open day in November 2022. It was so lovely and clean and all the staff were really warm and friendly. We didn’t hesitate to sign up. My daughter started at just 5 months old and we are proud that she is one of the opening crew at the baby room. She has achieved many milestones and as a family, the team have very much supported this journey so far! Not being from London and this being our only child, we have often needed the team more than we expected, they have never let us down. Thank you Heleanna and team - you are amazing.”

“My Daughter start at Toad Hall she was 6 months and left she was 4 1/5. She loved the staff, the children, the food. Nursery days were very special for her, she still comes with me to pick up her little brother and loves to come in and talk to the staff that looked after her when she was there. Now i have my son and he also loves nursery and the staff he always look forward to go back to Nursery. I know Toad Hall for the last 6 years and i have seeing constant changes and improvements in the inside and outside playgound. I'm happy and the most imortant my children were and are happy there. “My daughter has attended for over a year now and absolutely loves it. Her development is helped so much by being there and she regularly surprises me with how capable she is in doing things thanks to the nursery activities. They do lots of fun activities but also very practical ones like cooking, prepping vegetables, personal hygiene, using scissors etc. Knowing how happy and content she is really helps with my mum guilt. It may not be the flashiest nursery in the area but for caring for the kids and delivering a good experience, you can't get better.”

“My 18 month daughter is generally quite clingy to me and her dad and takes a while to get used to new people. However with Mrs Jiwa she was settled within a week, started gigglinh and squealing the second week and now six weeks later literally runs to the nursery excitedly. Mrs Jiwa, Ms Hussain and Mrs Yasmin go above and beyond in every aspect: caring for the children, feeding, teaching and having fun. They're thrilled to see her everytime she goes and she's thrilled to see them. I am so happy to have made the decision to register my daughter here!”

“Our son has been attending Monkey Puzzle since he was 4.5 months old, he is now 2 years old. We are extremely happy with his level of care that he receives. He loves coming to nursery, and the enjoys the variety of activities that the excellent team provide. The care we’ve received from every member of staff, at all levels, has always been fantastic. Our son loves his time at nursery and we are very pleased in all the progress he’s making. We can see at home the different things he’s being taught at nursery, from sign language, his motor skills and the many varieties of messy play he brings home in his hair! Personally as parents we’ve enjoyed the community feel of the nursery, having attending a few events like the summer fete and the parents first aid training. We can’t recommend Monkey Puzzle enough!”

My son started attending the nursery since he was two years old, in 2023. Since joining the nursery, he has thrived in a nurturing and engaging environment as a baby. This is foster by the good work of the learning, creativity and social development from the teaching team and management of Partou. The staff at the nursery have shown excellent, exceptional dedication and kindness towards my son. Their approach to early childhood education is very thoughtful and effective. They have help to build confidence in him, teaching and learning basic essential skills. I observe this at home with him. He likes practicing to share his play sessions with me, repeating his nursery rhymes he learnt at nursery. He uses words he learnt from his teacher like 'very good ' whenever he finishes his food eating and anytime he wore his socks by himself. I have seen remarkable growth in my sons communication, independence and enthusiasm for learning as he grows into toddler. I am so thankful to the staff, his key worker and managers of the nursery. “This nursery is the right place where children can grow in safety. The staff is excellent and the teachers are nice and friendly. The children learn new skills everyday and are more than prepared to be in school.”

“We love this nursery. Our two boys have been going here since October 2023 and they enjoy it very much. The staff turnover is minimal and the teachers are lovely, professional and kind. The bigger nursery chain they went to before was much more expensive, the teachers changed constantly and our older one was reluctant to go in. We have none of those issues here and are very happy with our nursery choice. The nursery manager Claire is also very nice to deal with. There are two 197 nurseries close to each other and our boys go to the bigger one across from Alexandra school. As an example of the level of care, there was major train disruptions recently and we couldn’t get home to pick the boys up on time. The teachers stayed with them until almost 8pm and didn’t even complain when we finally got there. The have very reliable and attentive staff here.”
