“This is such a lovely place to stay! Sarah and Frank made me very welcome, friendly and helpful without being obtrusive - the perfect hosts! The rooms are all extremely well appointed, spotlessly clean, with really comfortable beds. Bathrooms have everything you need and wonderful hot showers with both hand-held and rain shower heads - bliss ! Breakfast is delicious and healthy and presented beautifully! What can I say - it’s fabulous, try it!”

“Steve was my hero. Our cat Lily was due to stay with our daughter but she was unable to have her. So the day before we were due to go on holiday I rang Steve. We were in luck he had, had a cancellation. Steve reassured us that Lily would be fine, he asked what food she preferred and biscuits etc. Made sure all her injections were up to date. When we dropped her of he took her to her holiday home. Steve kindly let us pick her up a little earlier due to M25 bring busy and his wife Melinda explained how Lily had been, when she had eaten etc. We will happily leave Lily at The Ark in future and found them very friendly and caring. Great value to.”

“Great place for quick lunch. My experience was spot on. Popped in needing a tasty lunch and got what I was after. Ordered a no4 1pc chicken with 3 hot wings, fries and a drink. Really good food. It was hot. Chips were well cooked. Chicken tasted fresh and was well cooked. Still moist inside and tasty crispy coating. Wish I had asked for some salt sachets as my chips were understandably unsalted. My fault. Drink was nice and cold. All for less than £6. Perfect. I would recommend and use again if I’m in the area.”

“What a fabulous team! I had to get 3 cats to Wales due to a house move. They took my provisional booking and honoured it even though i couldn't confirm the actual transfer until the afternoon before due to issues with the house purchase/sale process! Friendly & professional throughout, Paul & Sarah are absolutely lovely people. I felt really confident trusting them with my much loved cats. I would 100% recommend their cat transport service!
