“We had always known that we would appoint Schmidt to build our new kitchen even before we appointed our building contractors! We first went to see Schmidt Stanmore in September 2020 and placed the order after designs made by their former employee Arzoo. Between sept 2020 and Dec 2021, we changed our layout of the extension and made the kitchen bigger! Schmidt was very accommodating in changing the designs and to our specification. They also built a bespoke spice jar cupboard that we requested. The kitchen was fitted in October 2022..two years after our first order and that was because our builders were not ready for the fit and Schmidt Stanmore were accommodating in waiting until we were ready. We also engaged them to build our utility room to carry the flow of the same colours and cupboards. Kevin and Lisa-Marie have been really patient and helpful with us through your our project. “I went into Stanmore Howdens to look around for my family kitchen. We had been to a few other companies earlier that day as well to shop around. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a warm smile by Vimal and offers for teas and coffees before we had even begun discussing our preferences to colours , ranges etc…. Once we had established what we were looking for between Dipesh, Amit and Vimal they were so very accommodating to our needs and requirements and offered other options to us. We then were about to leave the store and was offered an ice cream which topped off a hot day! Huge thank you to the team at Stanmore Howdens! Would definitely recommend”

“They offer a large supply of building materials, which is literally enough to build a house from top to bottom. Selection of bricks, treated wood, CLS, thermalite blocks, specialized builders equipment and my favourite, which is the blue ultra grime wipes. You can also buy stuff to clean your patio, fill a pothole and probably enough cement to build a mini bunker. They also have sawmill and wood cutting services. Your local place to go if you want to build something. They have click and collect+ deliver for those who don't want to carry. Proper builders merchant.”
