“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!.
