The food was fresh and extremely tasty, the venue itself was beautiful so special and has perfect photo opportunities and the service was outstanding it felt very personal with lots of extra special touches. “What looks both from the outside and the inside like a standard greasy spoon cafe in fact serves the most fantastic food For breakfast and lunch with a very friendly owner, a dedicated team of staff and is spotlessly clean. My veggie option for £10 had two poached eggs on mashed avocado on sourdough, old style baked beans, a piece of hash brown, mushrooms, halloumi and a good size fresh salad. Unbelievably good. My friend had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and described it as absolutely perfect With the meat being very tender.”

“Was planning on going to the popular cafe next door but the line was over 2 hours and so we decided to to give this place a go as the food looked good and it was busy but no queue. Very happy that we did as it was a lovely breakfast. The full English had everything you could want and was fresh. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was lovely too. Amazing bubble and squeak. Don’t bother waiting in the queue for next door. Come here!”

“We had the full (English) breakfast on the menu consisting of Toast, mushroom, baked beans and turkey rashers. My wife and I don’t take eggs so we requested for more portions of turkey rashers instead and they were lovely to oblige us. We had it with orange juice - and speaking of the orange juice, the best so far I’ve had in the uk. Real Orange juice which I believe was just blended and not Tesco orange juice. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The service was great too.”

“Met a friend for breakfast this morning. We split the avocado toast w/ 2 poached eggs, an almond croissant, and each had a cordato. The almond croissant was one of the best I’ve had. Light, fluffy, and almonds toasted perfectly. The filling was not gross and sugary like it often is, it had a subtle sweetness and was light and natural. The avocado toast was amazing. Please read again: THE AVOCADO TOAST WAS AMAZING. Toasted sesame seeds cooked to perfection, on a base of fresh sourdough, topped with two perfectly cooked poached eggs. The combination of flavors created a symphony for the palate. Oh wait! I forgot to mention the amazing side of red pepper paste. The smallest amount added another dimension to the meal. Service was excellent. Although it was one young girl, she had everything under control. The bathroom was extremely clean and smelled fresh. Saucer & Cup, keep up the good work. He is a credit to your cafe and the only reason we come. He makes us smile and nothing is too much for him and it’s always service with a smile!
