“My son is currently in Year 9 and he is extremely happy in FGCS and doing well academically with great support from excellent staff and friendship groups. The results in this school speak for themselves...6th best in the country for GCSE results! and outstanding as well! Yes discipline is strict with one-hour detention for even being 1-minute late but detention is never during lessons, instead always after school or on a Saturday. I love that the school discipline system is so strict and consistent resulting in fewer children repeating poor behaviour and respecting staff more as they should be. An inspirational school which defies the assumption that schools have institutional Racism, with a very high percentage of SLT being from BME community, which represents the make-up of the school community hence encouraging children to aim/achieve high. Rarely see schools like FGCS with such a high number of BME staff at SLT level. Please look at their job vaccancy list, rarely jobs advertised because staff do not leave and are clearly happy there! Happy staff=Happy students! Well done FGCS keep on doing what your doing the formula works!”

“Everyone has their own experiences with all sorts of things in life. When it comes to Langley Grammar School, I would say it is neither the best school on planet nor the worst. But definitely one of the top schools in Berkshire and surrounding areas. Students as far as Hounslow and further areas travel to Grammar schools in Slough. One has to look from broader prospective. There will be some issues when it comes to managing a school with 1200+ students. You need to have positive attitude and try and sort out any issues with school rather than just passing negative comments. It will be good not only for your child but also for school as things will improve and in yhis process other students too will benifit. Overall I would rate 5* to this school, the way they managed through pandemic with minimal distrupt to students educational progress. No wonder Ofsted has rated this school Outstanding.”

“Having already had one daughter go through the school who is now in full time employment I also have a daughter in year 10. Both girls views of the school is positive. The facilities are fantastic have had a virtually complete rebuild. The teachers are a credit to the school and go out of their way to help with extra tuition and outside sporting fixtures. The new uniform is great and gives a far smarter appearance than the old one. If you are trying to decide if this school is right for your child I urge you to visit it and see for yourself the massive improvements that have been made.”
