“A Harrow Landmark – The Castle, 30 West Street, HA1 Nestled just a short walk from the famous Harrow School, The Castle is a charming 18th‑century pub that proudly retains its original fixtures and fittings. It’s a place where history meets modern hospitality, offering classic British cuisine, cask ales, and a welcoming atmosphere. What makes it special: Cuisine: British pub staples — scotch eggs, chicken supreme, venison, and hearty Sunday roasts. Desserts: Yorkshire pudding, ice cream, and biscuits are popular choices. Drinks: A good selection of scotch, lager, craft beer, and teas. Atmosphere: Homely and relaxed, ideal for winding down after a busy day. Heritage: The pub’s 18th‑century character adds a unique charm, making it stand out among Harrow’s venues.”

“Went to this café today for the first time, I had a latte coffee along with two poached eggs on toast and baked beans at a cost of £9.05. This café is very comfortable as it has very comfortable chairs and tables. All loose and not fix together like picnic tables. The food was very well prepared and tasted very fresh. Café owner and staff. Very pleasant and talkative. Enjoyed my first visit there and will be for sure returning again soon.”

“Visited EightySix Restaurant and Bar this evening in Harrow, didn’t go in with much expectation. On first sight the restaurant looked small when you enter it’s much bigger inside. On entering we were greeted and given the choice to choose our table. Not long after we got seated, the waiter came and handed us the menu. We ordered the spicy wings, veg burger and the chicken burger and the churros for dessert. The veg burger was actual veg, I was genuinely surprised because most places you go it’s plant based and it did not disappoint, the chicken burger was even better with the special burger sauce, amazing. The staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. Food was amazing, the atmosphere was brilliant. I will definitely be visiting again.”

“The food breathes the dedication of the staff to continuously upgrade and improve the menu. It's mouthwatering and flavoursome. So much so, it's had me travel more than an hour (each way) on two consecutive Saturdays. Although they're buzzing and busy, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful, greeting everyone with a smile. This is what burger joints should be like. If you're not doing it the FBK way, you're not doing it right! Bravo!”

“The food here is wonderful. I had the curry goat with rice and peas and plantain, I loved it. A nice big portion too, which is always good! It's great that there's a quality Caribbean takeaway on my doorstep. The people of Harrow and Wealdstone need to go here rather than the endless chicken and kebab shops on the high street. I just wish that their opening hours were longer!”

“We organized an office lunch for 35 people, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, perfect for a group gathering. A huge thank you to Mohit, the manager—truly the best of the best! His professionalism, warm attitude, and attention to detail made the entire event seamless and enjoyable. Mohit went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And a big shout-out to the entire staff! Every team member was friendly, attentive, and worked together to make sure our large group was well taken care of. “We went on wing night and got 2 helpings of 6 wings. The sauce was the right amount of spice. The fries were crispy on the out side and potatoey on the inside which was cooked to perfection. The burger was seasoned well. The quality of food exceeded my expectations, so much so that we came back to repeat our experience. Atmosphere is relaxed, but surprisingly 10 times cleaner than most pubs. Very clean!! I would recommend this place to watch sports, have a cold one, and eat great food.”

“I work in London two weeks a month and this is always always always my go to place for brunch. I’ve been coming here for breakfast pretty consistently for about 6 months or more and every time the food was fresh, tasty, well presented, and came out quickly. The ladies are absolute gems as well. I went to a couple of other pricier and ‘fancier’ halal breakfast places in the surrounding area, but they never ticked all the boxes the way Jasmine’s do. It tends to be very busy on weekends but every time I got lucky and found a table, and again even when it was busy the food and service quality stayed the same which is a major plus.”
