“I’ve had conversations on the phone and in person with a number of different staff since my daughter has started full time in Nov 2024. I have been really impressed with them all and the quality of communication I’ve received. It’s always so hard leaving your baby with strangers and I speak from experience of 3 different well-established nurseries (2 of which were rated Outstanding by Ofsted) that my elder child had been at. The experience so far with Boys & Girls Croxley has been really good. The updates via the Blossom app are prompt throughout the day helping me keep up with my daughter’s experience and reassuring me about her wellbeing. The photos and well thought-out daily activities cover a real breadth of topics and developmental opportunities and I’m seeing the positive changes in her as a result. When she has been unfortunate enough to have little accidents or difficulty falling asleep or being upset, the staff have kept me informed and personalised their response to her by calling and making me aware of all the things they have tried and asking if there is anything else they might be able to do to help her feel more comfortable. She has settled in really well and I would highly recommend this nursery to Others based on my experience so far.”

“I cannot thank Eva enough for her amazing dog walking service, my little whippet Huxley was absolutely obsessed with her and was always the happiest, most excited boy whenever he saw her. Eva clearly loves what she does very much and that is apparent in the care she takes of each doggo, I always felt safe in the knowledge that my boi was well looked after and having an amazing time on his walkies. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars It was my first time visiting Softplay with my 15-month-old, and I was pleasantly surprised! The area was spacious, clean, and not overcrowded at all. I loved that they had separate sections for different age groups — including a special area just for little ones up to 18 months. Everything was well supervised. One of the staff members was especially attentive, always making sure the older kids didn’t wander into the baby area and that everyone followed the rules. It made the experience feel very safe and respectful for everyone. The whole place was spotless, the vibe was great, and even the food was good! I also really appreciated that we didn’t need to pre-book — we just walked in, and for the whole family, it was only £11.50 for a two-hour slot, which is amazing value. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — clean, well-organized, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.”

“Gymboree has helped a lot in improving my son’s social skill, and he enjoys so much in playing with the staff and other kids. I really appreciate their efforts in providing a good chance for children to learn and play. I have recommended Gymboree to my friends who also have kids and looking for a place to play. The time my son playing in Gymboree is undoubtedly the happiest time after we moved to this area.”

“Lovely restaurant in a very nice location. The food is amazing, cooked on the location and served by the future chefs of the country. They create their own daily menu, serve mouthwatering food and provide an impeccable service. The experience starts at the entrance with a very warm welcome and just flows through naturally during the three course dining experience. The place is popular and booked weeks in advance, so please call ahead. They also do lovely activities like chocolate classes, cake making and cake decoration- which are also highly recommended.”

“I cannot recommend Kirsty enough! My dog goes with Kirsty for daycare once a week and he always has a great time. I’m kept up to date with pictures and videos and every time it’s at a different location, so he gets lots of exposure. My dog is large breed and a little reactive, so it was always a worry if the person looking after him is experienced enough. Kirsty ticks all these boxes, she is extremely experienced, knowledgeable as well as patient! She really takes her time with my dog and I can always see the care she has for him. We also use Kirsty’s boarding services. I can leave my dog for long periods of time knowing he is in loving safe hands! 10/10 service every time :)”
