“Everyone has their own experiences with all sorts of things in life. When it comes to Langley Grammar School, I would say it is neither the best school on planet nor the worst. But definitely one of the top schools in Berkshire and surrounding areas. Students as far as Hounslow and further areas travel to Grammar schools in Slough. One has to look from broader prospective. There will be some issues when it comes to managing a school with 1200+ students. You need to have positive attitude and try and sort out any issues with school rather than just passing negative comments. It will be good not only for your child but also for school as things will improve and in yhis process other students too will benifit. Overall I would rate 5* to this school, the way they managed through pandemic with minimal distrupt to students educational progress. No wonder Ofsted has rated this school Outstanding.”

“Best gym in the area. Absolutely spoilt for choice with classes and the refurbishment and all new equipment in the gym makes it an outstanding place to train. Manager Adrian and all the lovely staff are really helpful with info and PT sessions. Adrian is a brilliant boxing coach I have loved the new Box12 classes too. The gym is great for everyone between beginners or expert body builders. There’s such a mix of abilities and bodies at the gym I love it.”

“Came into Broomfields from Hertfordshire (one hour away) as my son had an accident with boiling water during cooking on the hob. He was seen asap for triage and not long after for treatment and dressing. They put Lister hospital to shame with how quick they were. The staff were all very helpful and very good. Thankyou to all that helped him today. Your care, kindness and speed was very much appreciated. *Update* We've been back a few times to their burns ward for redressing and checks (I've also redressed at home to) and they have been great and very thorough. Great burns unit with great staff.”

“My children have been at the John Roan since 2014, whilst we had difficult times in the past we have seen huge improvements over the last 3 years, behavior has improved greatly, we have a brilliant leadership team in place and a great team of teachers who have improved standards tremendously. My daughter (in year 12) is a high achiever, she had options to go to grammar school or other top secondary schools but she chose to stay at the John Roan to take A'levels we are really pleased with the improvements at the school and have seen positive results in not just the academic side of school but also pastoral care.”

Newham is not a good borough and a high percent of residents not only live in poverty but also suffer from bad housing and face multiple challenges. The schools here are still better than in Northern cities. Eastlea also has great facilities. The teachers work hard to educate and improve pupil's lives despite of the school being in Canning Town which is one of the worst areas Newham regarding social problems.”
