“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars It was my first time visiting Softplay with my 15-month-old, and I was pleasantly surprised! The area was spacious, clean, and not overcrowded at all. I loved that they had separate sections for different age groups — including a special area just for little ones up to 18 months. Everything was well supervised. One of the staff members was especially attentive, always making sure the older kids didn’t wander into the baby area and that everyone followed the rules. It made the experience feel very safe and respectful for everyone. The whole place was spotless, the vibe was great, and even the food was good! I also really appreciated that we didn’t need to pre-book — we just walked in, and for the whole family, it was only £11.50 for a two-hour slot, which is amazing value. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — clean, well-organized, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“Gymboree has helped a lot in improving my son’s social skill, and he enjoys so much in playing with the staff and other kids. I really appreciate their efforts in providing a good chance for children to learn and play. I have recommended Gymboree to my friends who also have kids and looking for a place to play. The time my son playing in Gymboree is undoubtedly the happiest time after we moved to this area.”

My eldest daughter started after lockdown 2020/2021 (and took her first steps to the welcome song!!) and my youngest is just about to finish having started in 2024. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make friends or have something to do while on mat leave.”

“I’ve had conversations on the phone and in person with a number of different staff since my daughter has started full time in Nov 2024. I have been really impressed with them all and the quality of communication I’ve received. It’s always so hard leaving your baby with strangers and I speak from experience of 3 different well-established nurseries (2 of which were rated Outstanding by Ofsted) that my elder child had been at. The experience so far with Boys & Girls Croxley has been really good. The updates via the Blossom app are prompt throughout the day helping me keep up with my daughter’s experience and reassuring me about her wellbeing. The photos and well thought-out daily activities cover a real breadth of topics and developmental opportunities and I’m seeing the positive changes in her as a result. When she has been unfortunate enough to have little accidents or difficulty falling asleep or being upset, the staff have kept me informed and personalised their response to her by calling and making me aware of all the things they have tried and asking if there is anything else they might be able to do to help her feel more comfortable. She has settled in really well and I would highly recommend this nursery to Others based on my experience so far.”

“Large playground with something to suit all ages. Does get very busy during holidays but it’s easily accessible in the park with a small steam train next door one side and a splash park the other. Also there is a nice and friendly cafe next to the park with hot or cold food.”

“I could not recommend Tinkys nursery more! My daughter has been attending since age 1 and almost 3 now . From social development to academic development, my daughter has made excellent progress in her learning and social skills . Their attention to detail is next to none and they really do keep track of all activities/events each day to report to you on email and collection of your child. The freshly made nutritious meals are just another bonus. The staff are warm, friendly and approachable and my daughter is happy to see them when I drop her off and I know that she’s had a good day when I collect her as she chats about what she’s been up to. She has thrived since starting Tinkys and made special bonds with her peers and care givers . I feel confident leaving her with the lovely team knowing that she’ll have a great day and will be well cared for and treated as an individual.”

“In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.”

“My daughter started in this nursery when she was 12 months old in the baby room, and since then she developed in such a nice Way! She learned a lot of staff and every week she is coming with something new. The staff is really nice and supportive with the kids . My one is really enjoying the nursery! “I cannot recommend Kirsty enough! My dog goes with Kirsty for daycare once a week and he always has a great time. I’m kept up to date with pictures and videos and every time it’s at a different location, so he gets lots of exposure. My dog is large breed and a little reactive, so it was always a worry if the person looking after him is experienced enough. Kirsty ticks all these boxes, she is extremely experienced, knowledgeable as well as patient! She really takes her time with my dog and I can always see the care she has for him. We also use Kirsty’s boarding services. I can leave my dog for long periods of time knowing he is in loving safe hands! 10/10 service every time :)”

“My nephew of 2yrs attends this nursery 5 days a week and really enjoys it. There is a variety of activities for them to do throughout the day as well as getting outdoors a lot. They also have freshly prepared meals that are healthy and nutritionally balanced. The staff are super friendly and smiley and are always happy to help answer any questions you may have! Definitely recommend this nursery whether it’s 2 or 5 days a week!”
