    The London Acorn School

“Superb school and staff. We moved our child from our local outstanding school to Acorn after we noticed he was been left behind due to a rushing attitude on learning and some other factors. The care and attention given here has huggly improved his well being therefore a massive step towards the education. If you are thinking of joining the school go and see it for yourself. Notice the happy children, notice the classrooms and the office. Speak to the teachers and you will get your answers. We are very greaful to have chosen this school.”

    London Christian School

    ★★★★☆ 4.3

“London Christian School feels like a caring community of families and teachers, rather than a school! The smaller size means everyone knows everyone, yet newcomers are warmly welcomed. Whilst there is naturally a strong Christian ethos, different religions are respected and embraced. Our children are in Years 5 and 3, have both been at the school since the age of four, and come home every day tired but elated! The teaching is excellent; strong academics are balanced with sport, music, extra-curricular activity and individual pastoral support where needed. The location is fantastic for anyone living in the “inner south east” London area or working around London Bridge or the City. The only limitation of LCS is that due to the central location, sports fields are not on-site. But they make the best possible use of the rooftop playground and the nearby council park and astroturf, with the older children heading out to the local facilities daily for a run around. If we go into any further lockdowns during 2021, LCS can be trusted to continue to deliver a fantastic educational experience; ensuring no child gets left behind whilst being realistic about what is possible in a home-schooling environment. In the meantime, it has been clear to us that the teachers and children alike are very excited to be back at school and are making the most of the time they spend together - having fun and building friendships, learning and exploring, and feeling part of their special school community once again. We cannot recommend LCS highly enough!”

“Lovely community hub where the range and variety of activities serve the local community and include a playgroup and activities for the diverse community it serves. You can tell that the people who run it really care about what they do. A real gem. Can also be hired out.”

“My son attended this preschool since he was 3 year old until school age. I can't describe in my words how greatful I am to all the staff for what they have done for my son. They were caring, understanding and loving. My son tried 2 nurseries before and wouldn't settle in, so I asked the predchool manager for longer settling in period. They understood and allowed my son to take his time. They encouraged him to develop at his own pace, provided interesting resources and activities ans were there for him when he needed help. The preschool is substantially staffed. My son made his first friendships here. He continues seeing his preschool friends at church. It's nice to be part of the community. The preschool teachers are well experienced in special needs and have understanding, and can provide support.”

“This wonderful educational centre has got to be one of Ealing's best kept secrets. It provides top-notch courses in Latin - including Latin for the Deaf - as well as a number of other languages - see their website for further details. Highly recommended from personal experience. I have studied both Biblical Hebrew and Latin there and hope to continue when time allows.”

“My son attends to this school. It is a very small one but we are delighted with this school. My son is happy to go to school every morning, he is making a tremendous progress on his academic goals. Teachers really know how to motivate the students. Really happy with St Mary Magdalene!”
