“Was looking for a local sushi place that doesn't use mayo in all their sushi and decided to give this place a go after a trip to the cinema. There was plenty of choice and at an affordable price and we opted for the 28 piece maki platter which was more than enough for 2 people and cost £14 The order was made fresh and took 5-10 minutes to prepare. There was a few selection of Japanese grocery goods and snacks and I was happy to see they had sweet soy sauce which I have been unable to find at a good price The sushi was very well made and tasted great There is a minimum spend of £5 to use card”

“One of the best sushi places in the area! For the price you pay, you get authentic, good quality sushi with a wide range of choices. I usually get it on Deliveroo and occasionally will pop in. The cafe only has two seats so it’s recommended to get takeaway. The chef there is always friendly and makes sure you are happy with your food. The sushi fish selection is varied and has things like butterfish and sea bream which aren’t so common. I’ve never had a disappointing or below standard meal from them. Always delicious and fresh! There is also a mini selection of Japanese products which is wonderful. If you are in the area, you need to come here - don’t bother with any of the other high street places. This is the place for authentic sushi.”

“Do not be fooled by the visual look of this place! I have had sushi from very expensive places all around London, and this sushi was amazing! I went last night with a friend, we ordered 3 plates of tempura and salmon Dragon rolls and a crab plate. It blew our minds! I woke up this morning ready to have it again for breakfast! “Happened upon this place by accident. I was visiting Kenwood House (which was lovely), and afterwards, we walked around looking for a place to have lunch. We looked at Fish n Flame, and decided to treat ourselves to fish and chips. It proved to be a wise choice. The gentleman who served us was very professional. He took our order and when the dish arrived, it was awesome. I honestly do not think that I ever have had fish and chips which was any better than what I enjoyed today. The food was piping hot, the batter was as one would want, not soggy, but lovely and crisp. The sauce was delicious. The chap who looked after us, checked that all was too our liking, without being intrusive. I can recommend this venue wihout hesitation.”

“Hidden gem! Every dish from Yida was beautifully prepared and fresh. High quality sushi, sashimi and cooked dishes like tempura and agedashi tofu to name a few. There's a cute outdoor area which is nice to get some air in summer. Service is delightful and for Japanese cuisine which requires sushi grade fish and seafood, prices are very reasonable. “Already upon arrival it was clear that the service would be very considerate, we were offered a table kindly. the interior is unique, we liked the minimalistic design and the color scheme. Picking the food was easy (the menu was very clear and had explanations for words we didn’t recognize).
