“Name changed from Taste of Afghanistan to Shami kabab restaurant. Nice halal food and plenty of seating area. Best dish was Kabuli pulow, tasty rice having good qty meat and comes with vegetable and chutney. Kabab with naan were also good Chicken roast was nice too with fries (best for children) Starter was average because quantity was less (would not order again)”

“Noodles and veg freshly cooked in front of you, halal options too. Great quality and affordable, the £5 large could feed 2 people. Staff are helpful and service is good. Will be even better once they deliver to Northolt. Parking is a bit of an issue, if you go after 6pm then you can park in the loading bay outside the shop.”

“We had three short stays over a three week period ranging from 5, 3 and 2 nights. The staff, despite always being busy, were very friendly and helpful. Room 110 was small but okay for a couple of nights, just be careful that the shower desn't overflow onto the bathroom floor (the other two rooms had over-bath showers), room 101 was the smallest so maybe better for just an overnighter, room 111 was larger and therefore more comfortable. We had no issues with noise All of the staff, from the bar and restaurant, kitchen and room service were really friendly, helpful and professional. I really appreciated the historical photographs displated throughout the hotel and pub, linking the hotel to the area at the time around WW2 and to the local RAF base at Northolt. The dining room is the former dance hall, you can really imagine how it might have been back in the 1940's. The meals were great value, it was nice to be able to head downstairs early (Breakfast served from 07:00), grab your free coffee and then order brekkie online to your table. As mentioned previously, apart from one slightly sultry guy, everyone was very friendly and, at times, it was very busy in there. This was an ideal location for us, an easy drive from Heathrow and close to the people and places that we wanted to visit. We were very happy with the value, for a London hotel.”

In West Ealing restaurants are much more expensive much more overpriced to know the stuff in broad daylight over that but this restaurant is not like at all it is reasonable price affordable for families for all group of people unfortunately my children they are they were allergic once when we want that and they started vomiting on the on the pavement outside. But I don't but I tell them we can go back but they are they are they say no but I go with my friends all the time absolutely no problems at all. So I love it I wish there were more restaurants affordable and good service and nice and clean and tidy and beautiful thank you very much bye-bye.”

Tried chicken tikka and kebab roll here for the first time - both were so delicious that I can't even describe them in words. The butter chicken was also very very very tasty! The service was excellent- the waitress was extremely kind, spoke with a lovely smile and the service was really fast. I would definitely love to come here again. Thank you for the wonderful evening!”
