“Contrary to other reviews, this is a good and supportive school with well educated staff and teachers. They are also not extremely strict like other schools which allows students here to form their identities without being stripped of their personal Liberty and freedom of self expression (like some other schools). Multicultural and diverse, you have students from all sorts of different backgrounds which enables you to mingle and form relationships with people from cultures all across the world. The education system is supportive. Staff is supportive. Cantine food is mediocre. I don’t know how things have changed from when I left 5 years ago, but from the time I was here, I enjoyed my secondary school experience. Other schools have it a lot worse, at friern Barnet you were enabled to be educated while not being autonomously ruled.”

“My son has gained tremendous skills since starting at we make footballers and he loves it. I like the small groups almost like one to one coaching. The energy is good. I'd recommend them 100%.”

“Our little boy joined the baby room at The Hyde in February and he absolutely loves it there. He settled in super quickly and has wonderful fun filled days. The staff are lovely, warm and caring and you can see the bonds between the babies and them. The space is beautiful with lots of light, lovely toys and a really nice garden space where they often spend time. They do lots of activities to learn through play and build relationships with one another. He has really thrived since joining and we love how much he enjoys going and feel really lucky and grateful we found The Hyde.”

“Had a private group lesson with my partner and his parents! They were so nervous because it was their first time doing any sort of dance class. Alex made everyone so comfortable and taught the class in the most engaging and warm way. I would 10/10 recommend her for any one who’s looking to introduce a little dance into their lives in a fun and engaging way ”

“I have been attending bodens for about five years now and in those five years I have learnt so many new skills. I currently attend their Saturday morning combined musical theatre classes from 10am-1pm and their tap dance classes on Mondays from 5pm-5:45pm. I also take part in Trinity musical theatre exams which I am very lucky and grateful to do. Bodens has given me many opportunities and taught me many things that I will use in everyday life and in the future. Being a student at bodens has helped my confidence grow massively. They never fail to produce incredible shows where every student is involved and having fun. All members of staff are lovely and are always nice . They encourage us to take risks in theatre and help us understand what life is like in the theatre industry. Not only are the staff kind, but the students are too; they are all very welcoming to new people and are always open to making new friends. I have really enjoyed every moment during my time at bodens so far, and I think other young people should get to experience this too.”

“Today my son attended this lovely forest school for the last time as he has to go to normal school full time. We will miss the lovely kids, amazing teachers and beautiful setting. Managers and teachers alike are kind, thoughtful, considerate and loving people - who all clearly have deep connections to nature. My son has special needs and all teachers went out of their way to help him settle and thrive. Amazing place. We’re very sad to leave : (”

“I went to northway school back in the 70s and it was a speciel needs school in those days and I loved going there.didn't really want to leave but I was 17years old and it was time.I treasure those days of my youth and allway will be great full for my years in a great school.”

I remember mr Carey who was my old head master he was lovely I had the best days at that school I'd recommend this school to any one I would have my own children go to that school but I now Iive in Warwickshire brilliant school so many happy memories x pagan Kao x”
