“Finally an outstanding chicken kutsu curry in Croydon! The food was absolutely delicious and very large portions. I could smell the freshly cut cucumbers from my chicken bibimbap. The lady at the till was really nice and we will definitely go there again.”

“I love coming here. I order an egg, bacon and sausage roll with ketchup every time I come. The roll is always soft and the filling is cooked to perfection. Best cafe in Croydon. The chef is an absolute joy. Good food and great people - what more could you ask for? If I could give 1 million stars out of 10, I would.”

“LOVE IT best pizza takeaway near me i don't always have pizza but when i do I NEVER go elsewhere! i swear by this place - the one near me is so great i've even tried some further out. i am eating a margarita as we speak its so good. its warm its fresh its yum - its not too chewy or dry. it comes with my FAV FREE dip, its flavourful, the cheese tastes so nice. i always get the make your own as its worth the value (i add on SO many toppings) or i get margarita. i don't eat at other pizza places they're too greasy and this one isn't! love it id eat a pizza from here all day if i had to and i would even collab with them LMAO thats how much i love fireaway. ask my friends i always feed them these pizzas at parties and they have vegan and halal options for my besties :) nice seating area, lovely staff - i met the chef :) very sweet they even gave me FREE pizza once thank you ”

“I've had various wraps, the biryani and other dishes from the restaurant on many occasions and it's definitely the best place to get Indian take-away. I think my favourite is the lamb curry but everything is really nice! I don't often publish reviews about food but this is very good. I would highly recommend!”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

The portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. “We ordered Uber eats today from this place for the first time, and we were really impressed with the food quality and the size of the proportions. Together with the 2 English breakfasts we ordered 2 bacon baguettes, and because they didn't have baguettes bread, they sent it over 2 bacon buns for each one of us, which was very thoughtful and kind of them. “lovely staff and good amount of seating area. i had the cinnamon roll more than once it was very nice! not everyone can perfect the roll but it suited my preference for it well. there’s an upstairs with a lighter environment great for doing work and a downstairs area which is a bit moodier but a nice place to read books just depending on your preference.”

“Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

The drinks / cocktails were rather expensive for a Croydon restaurant but they were also pretty good. Portions are not the biggest to order some sides if you’re hungry.”
