“Went for brunch on Sunday without a reservation. Had to wait for about 10-15 Mon for a table for 4 but all worth it. Had smashed avocado and American pancakes, my other half had pulled pork. All was great and looking forward to our next visit. Menu was looking great. Felt bright and modern. Service was polite, quick and efficient.”

Service a little slow but nice not to feel rushed. Food was superb and loved the scotch egg. “Had an absolutely fantastic meal here this evening. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The service was second to none and we felt truly at home despite it being our first visit (of many, no doubt!). We were especially impressed with how friendly and welcoming the staff were and our 18 month old absolutely loved it there. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! As other reviews have mentioned, the front of the restaurant doesn't do the place justice. If you're wondering what it's like, just go and try it, you won't be disappointed!!”

“I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place, a real gem of a shop with a very traditional feel. They have put carpets in the whole of the upstairs and the quality is really fantastic. We went for a thicker carpet in the main bedroom and it really was worth it although the other carpets are also excellent.
