The atmosphere in the shop is very welcoming and Kat made me feel comfortable and made sure the placement and size was how i wanted it. She even gave me suggestions how i should position it as i was a bit unsure and now i love the placement. Throughout getting the tattoo done Kat made sure to check up on me and we had chats during the process that eased my stress Overall… Kat is a lovely tattoo artist :D”

“Don’t go somewhere else to get your piercing like I did as Interskin was closed!! and I wanted mine done immediately! I then returned to this same salon to obtain my nose ring! Which hurt loads being changed and looked ridiculous not what I asked for… even though extremely busy Interskin took pity on me and kindly fitted exactly what I wanted, being gently professional and kind throughout! I also found out my original piercing had been out in the wrong way… probably why it took ages to heal and hurt!”

“Had a great experience here! Communication with reception staff was very efficient and transparent, they let me know the approximate quote before my consultation and chose a great artist, Jimi, for me based off what I wanted for my tattoo. Consultation with Jimi went fantastic and I loved his take on my ideas and inspiration photos; he was great and let me know that I could consult with him any time before the tattoo appointment on the design and whether I was happy with it or not. Actual tattoo appointment was also great! The only gripe I have is that it took about fifteen minutes past my appointment time for me to be brought back to be tattooed. Jimi made sure I was good with the design before we decided on placement, and the actual tattooing process was great. He took his time without spending extraordinarily long on the tattoo, with the actual inking being about an hour or so. Listening to the banter and conversation between staff was very entertaining lol. The results turned out fantastic and have been healing super well! Jimi even gave me some extra second skin when I mentioned that I exercised a lot so I would have extra replacements if I ended up sweating them off. Definitely considering getting a second tattoo here before I leave London!”

The receptionist gal was super friendly and helpful, made everyone feel extra welcome - the waiting area felt like a social gathering place, we were all just chatting away and it was this gal that created that awesome vibe. The artist (I didn't catch his name, sorry!!) took his time drawing out my design and sat with me to perfect it, until it was just right! I didn't feel rushed or under pressure at all, as sometimes is the way. He was friendly and chatty throughout the session and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my new ink!!!! “I recently got an Egyptian design tattooed by Adie at Renaissance Tattoo and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked into the studio, it was clear I was in good hands. The space is spotless, calm, and welcoming—everything feels very professional yet personal. Adie took the time to truly listen to what I wanted. He didn’t just copy a reference image; he asked great questions about which symbols meant the most, how bold I wanted the shading, how fine the lines should be, what kind of style (realism, black & grey, etc.) I was leaning toward. He sketched with precision, explained the process and what to expect from healing, and made me feel confident every step of the way. When it came to the tattooing itself, I was amazed. The detail in the Egyptian motifs was immaculate. The black & grey work is smooth; contrast is strong but tasteful; every line is sharp, every curve intentional. During long stretches, he checked I was okay, let me take breaks when needed, kept the atmosphere relaxed (some good music, friendly chat), which helped more than I expected. What really stands out about Adie is not just his technical skill, but his intelligence and deep respect for what he’s creating. He clearly has a strong background—not just in art, but in understanding the meaning behind the imagery. I learned about his interest in Egyptology and theology during our consultation, and it made me trust that the symbols I’d chosen would be treated with care. Aftercare advice was excellent. He explained what to do (and what not to do), how the ink might settle or fade, how certain quirks are natural, etc. Now that the tattoo is healing, it looks even better than I expected—crisp, beautifully saturated, and still holding up strong. Overall, Adie at Renaissance Tattoo is outstanding. If you want an artist who is not only tremendously talented, but also intelligent, committed, communicative, and someone who cares about both the design and your comfort, you’ll be hard pressed to do better. I absolutely love my Egyptian design, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Highly, highly recommend.”
