“This is a great place to pop to for coffee or have some breakfast/lunch. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and food is always brilliant. Highly recommend!”
“Sashimi quality well , tempura not too crispy ,salmon not too fat and no much fish oil on it means chef skill well, fresh enough, The hamachi set make me surprise, the hamachi maki with spring onions balance the fat of fish just the sushi rice a bit big and a bit sticky but most of the uk sushi always like that so not a big problem.”
“We have just returned from lunch at Giacomos which is one of our favourite restaurants. They always serve excellent meals with good service and today was no exception. We had a three course delicious meal with wine and coffee which was served promptly and competitively priced. We’ll be back!”
“I’ve been here twice now on a recommendation.. tiny place always packed. The service and the atmosphere is lovely with dean Martin playing in the background. The food is to die for.. give it a try you won’t be disappointed”
“We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Vicky and Emilia for giving us the best service we could have hoped for. From the moment we arrived, they were both incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel truly looked after. What impressed us most was their patience and kindness, even while managing a very busy restaurant. They never made us feel rushed, and every request was met with a smile and such professionalism. It’s rare to see such a perfect balance of efficiency and warmth, especially when the pace is so fast. They handled everything with grace and genuine care, and it made our experience so much more special. We left feeling not only satisfied with the food but also really happy thanks to the atmosphere they created. Thank you again, Vicky and Emilia – you’re a credit to the restaurant!”
“Great service, loved the suggestions for our drinks and food. Will definitely return.”
“Amazing place. Went for the buffet option with my partner. The service was great and the sushi was fantastic. Had a lovely time. Will definitely be back.”
“Came here for our work Christmas meal, excellent service, excellent food. Considering there were 40 of us, all food was hot and served together. Entertainment was great. Thank you Guiseppe and Team!”
“Authentic Italian dining at its best, delicious food with a friendly atmosphere and great service. Highly recommended. I will definitely be returning for more ☺️”
“The food is absolutely amazing. The presentation on the plate is just gorgeous. I love eel and tuna the most. The lack of music makes this place a bit too loud with all the people talking. They could play some lo-fi or other relaxing music. Also the waiter seems too shy and not too talkative, like he's afraid of people or trying to run away from customers. Anyway it's another positive visit here. Definitely coming back again soon.”
“Sushi Heaven's presentation and taste are both world class! Every plate has a touch of art. It's an ideal place to enjoy with friends or family.”
“Such a lovely and friendly place. Food is 10/10, all ingredients are fresh, personal was very welcoming and friendly, definitely I am going back for more.”
“♥ Japanese quality with fresh fish sourced from Europe and Japan. We’ve already been twice this month for the lunch omakase menu (£85), and each time has been excellent. Every piece is fresh and lightly seasoned, so you really taste the fish. I’ve been to Japan many times and tried various omakase – Cube definitely offers an authentic experience that’s comparable to what you’d get there. The restaurant is fairly quiet and the service is attentive. Highly recommend sitting at the counter for a fancy lunch or a catch-up with friends!”
“Absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best Italian restaurant in London. Please do not hesitate to try it when you are there as all the dishes as really and truly amazing”
“Nice place to have a pizza with a great beer Ichnusa di Sardinia. Good size portions per pizza and if you go between 12-5pm the price will be from £5, we ordered the £5 one. Nice staff and atmosphere.”
“What an amazing meal! Totally delicious small plates, large plates and pasta! Everything was cooked to perfection and Sara was the most wonderful host - so kind, knowledgable, charming and engaging! She helped us with every aspect of our food, from portion sizes to flavour and drinks. What an amazing experience thanks to Sara and the chefs. Delightful atmosphere too!!”
“A Fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of London! O’ver is a true gem near Piccadilly Circus. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. I had the pizza which I watched get made there fresh with the firewood oven! Also had the prawn & squid hot starter - delicious! & finished off with ice cream for dessert! The staff were very welcoming , friendly and always making sure everything was ok! the atmosphere was warm and inviting & I loved the candlelit dinner it made it very calming & wholesome . A perfect spot for a delicious, high-quality Italian meal with family friends or a date night Highly recommended!”
“Great place to dine in while staying in the Ealing area. Aga was quick to attend to us with a warm and friendly service. The croquets were delicious, along with the pizza we had which is much better pizza than we get in the States. The tiramisu with banana cream was amazing! I know now where to eat next time we're back town.”
“I have finally found it the best restaurant in London. The taste is absolutely amazing. The kimchi jeon reminded me of Korean holidays. How can they be so good at both Japanese and Korean cuisine? This place is an incredible restaurant that excels in cleanliness, taste, and service. I also loved the atmosphere it felt comfortable even when dining alone. In fact, when I was there, many people were eating alone as well. If you’re reading reviews and hesitating, I’d say don’t hesitate. just try it”
“The place is really good looking. The food is amazing and tasty. Service is brilliant too, always polite and happy to help. The atmosphere is really nice and tidy. Overall I enjoyed this sushi restaurant and will give it solid 5/5 stars.”
“Oka Barnes is a gem of a restaurant with a wonderful ambiance and ample space. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a delightful place to unwind and enjoy a meal. What impressed me the most was the affordability of their menu. For just $40 per person, I was able to indulge in a sumptuous feast of starters, sushi, refreshing drinks, and delectable desserts. The value for money here is exceptional. Located on a charming road, this restaurant offers a picturesque setting that enhances the overall dining experience. Whether dining in or ordering for home, I strongly recommend Oka Barnes for a satisfying culinary journey.”
“We were craving a Ramen on a cold evening so we didn't get to taste their sushis but they looked delicious. All Ramens were just perfect, the tuna tataki was excellent and the gioza very good too. The service was super friendly so we'll definitely come back for some sushis!”
“I visited Mitsuryu in Hampstead and can confidently say it’s one of the best sushi spots around. The sushi was excellent, and the salmon teriyaki was phenomenal – so fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, along with outdoor tables overlooking the park, which makes for a really nice setting. Service was wonderful across the board, but a special mention goes to Omaima – on a busy bank holiday she handled orders, deliveries, and even impatient customers with professionalism and kindness. Thank you for a great experience – I’ll definitely be back!”
“This restaurant has made my London-holiday better. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I have tried 5 different dishes and loved them all. The restaurant is on the smaller size but we don't feel cramped. Cute and unique experience.”
“My girlfriend and I went to 'Wow Simply Japanese' tonight. It was simply incredible. Such a loverly hostess and amazing food! Honestly, the best supirse was the value for money with exceptional quality, and the range of options available was amazing! Will definitely be bringing friends and family here in future! Also, definitely get the Banana Katsu desert!!!”
“We love coming here! Fantastic food, fair prices and the decor is lovely in their new place. The waiters were kind and attentive too. I like to come back every few months for their deluxe salmon set which melts like butter.”
“Just wow. This restaurant was a random choice and it exceeded all of our expectations. The ingredients were of the best quality and fresh. The dishes were noticeably carefully prepared and presented. We had “Set for Success” which includes starters and mains for £47 per person. For dessert we had the crème brûlé to goma and the shabetto. Everything was outstandingly delicious and good portions. The service was excellent, attentive, professional, always available, and there to give you the best experience. Worth every pence.”
“Very unique place. They make everything fresh at point of order for you. Very attentive when dining in. We always go there as a family to eat. The food is super fresh and tastes delicious! Highly recommend it!”
“We found this place last minute when we were browsing and it was such a lovely surprise! Cozy and friendly environment. Food very well presented, delicious and fresh. It was the perfect quiet spot after a busy day.”
“Absolutely recommend this place! Every sushi is made fresh to order (apart from the rice, of course), so it’s not the kind of spot where food flies out instantly, but trust me, the wait is completely worth it. When our Salmon Lover Set arrived, we were blown away by the generous, beautifully presented sashimi. It instantly brought us back to Japan’s quaint little sushi bars run by old masters, imperfectly cut yet perfectly portioned. When we came for dinner, the whole place was being run by just one person, Mr. Md Nazrul Islam. He did it all, welcomed us at the door, made the food, and still managed to be super friendly and warm throughout. The service and quality made the whole experience memorable. We couldn’t finish our set and took the rest home (no complaints there!). Definitely a place worth visiting. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying the hot meals next.”
