The Deli was quite busy and I they clearly needed another member of the team to help although the lovely lady who served me was so professional and polite. The team is consistently warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming; they remember faces, orders, and even the little details that make you feel like part of the community. During my undergraduate degree, the outdoor heaters kept me company through countless study sessions. As a teacher, I found myself back here on early mornings, planning lessons with a cup of something extra hot (which they never fail to get just right). And the outdoor plug sockets? They witnessed the highs and lows of my master’s degree — drafts, deadlines, and all. The coffee is always delicious, reliably smooth, and prepared with care.
