Within just a few weeks, I noticed a huge positive change in my son’s confidence, happiness, and manners — he genuinely looks forward to going every day. Having previously used local childminders, I can honestly say that the level of care, structure, and learning opportunities at Little Hearts are on a completely different standard. The environment is nurturing, stimulating, and well-organised, and the staff are well-mannered, highly trained and genuinely care about each child’s individual needs and progress. I also love that they use the Tapestry app to share updates and photos — it gives parents real peace of mind. The difference compared to childminders settings is remarkable. My only regret is not sending my older son here. “An absolutely fabulous nursery. My son only attended one day a week but his progress in all areas sped up phenomenally after only a few sessions. Being at BP boosted his confidence, his interest in art, his social skills and his language and numeracy skills immensely. I can't emphasise enough just how lovely the staff are at BP; Henry looked forward to seeing them every week and barely gave me a second glance once dropped off! The staff were always consistent and everyone I spoke to there knew exactly who my son was and all his likes, dislikes and habits. A far cry from a previous nursery he attended where I saw his key worker twice in about three months and there was no sense of closeness with the toddlers at all... Henry always had the best time at BP, especially getting to go outside exploring every day he was there. We were absolutely devastated to leave and only did so because we were moving out of area. I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a calm, well organised, friendly environment and professional staff who go above and beyond for the kids.”

After viewing many preschool sites in the local area, this one stood out for numerous reasons, including the size of the outdoor play space. The children already attending and staff welcomed us into the setting. We felt a warmth and a home from home feeling instantly. I was really impressed with the quality of the equipment, teaching and range of resources offered. I really felt that the adults listened to the individual needs of the children in their care. If I had more who needed to go to nursery it would defo 100% be this nursery they would go to the teachers speak everyday telling you how your child’s been and the children even get taken in the park to play as well as the nursery ground thank you for all you have to done to help all my girls progress and be ready for infant school x”

The staff here are amazing they go up and beyond for the children here, they always update the online journal daily where I was able to access it from home and see what my daughter has been doing for the day. They helped with toilet training encouraged her communication and boosted her confidence. The start to her educational chapter has been a breeze knowing she had such a great start here at St Edith’s pre-school.”

“Sparkies is a little hidden gem nursery, which is not an obvious “famous” choice in a Nappy Valley but it is absolutely great. Grace and her team truly care and love children and it does feel like a big family rather than a business minded nursery. They also encourage children to stay outdoors and explore a lot. Their facilities with a wonderful big garden is a real luxury. My daughter has previously attended one of the thought after local nurseries on Webbs Road and she absolutely hated it. We were desperate to find a good alternative and this was a real find. It took her only few days to settle, as her key teacher was very attentive, loving and she just loved to go to Sparkies. Also, Sparkies has got a nice parents community which just reinforces the big family culture.”
