“Today I had unusual Turkish food. This guy has been here since 2001 and met the owner. Very nice some people should make a visit to this Mazi Restaurant in west Croydon.”

“I can’t say much on the atmosphere as we’ve only ordered takeaway. Food and service is always good. The delivery does take time to come BUT it’s always hot and super delicious when it does so no complaints, just worth being aware that it can take time but it’s totally worth it. Their food is impressive, I really enjoy it and so does my partner too. We love their samosa pops and I’m obsessed with their Mumbai Garlic curry - such a good amount of flavour and heat. “We went for my son’s 9th birthday and everything was great. My son loved the food and he is a fussy eater! He ate the tomato pasta with garlic bread. Six people came including three adults and three children. Two children ate adult meals and all rated 5*s. I loved the atmosphere and the chef and waitress were amazing and attentive. I ate the seafood spaghetti and I enjoyed it i would say 4 out of 5. The pizza looked amazing and the calamari are definitely the two that stood out and we all took a liking to. My seat did need a shake to remove a little mess and the table had minor crumbs. Otherwise the table was ready when we arrived as I called ahead. All was put right quickly and we all very much enjoyed the meal.”

“Absolutely fantastic! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked with a crispy golden batter, and the chips were fluffy on the inside and wonderfully crispy on the outside. The portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. Whether you’re after a quick takeaway or a sit-down meal, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”
