I have been seeing Ciba (hygienist) and Smita (dentist and part owner) since they took over from Mr Robert-Harry’s surgery whom I’d been with for almost 40 years. It was a huge wrench and I was very nervous about the change. However I had nothing to worry about as they are both extremely caring and professional and my experience with them has been delightful and not many people can say that about going to the dentist. I would totally recommend a visit.”

“So I’ve taken my nearly 2 year old to one or two other places for a hair cut and he would just scream and it was traumatising. My mum suggested Brogans as she used to take my brother there when he was a kid and so we made an impromptu visit down to brogans today. To my shock and surprise, Debbie was able to keep my son calm and smiling throughout the hair cut and he didn’t cry one bit! Debbie was so calm and flexible, was trying to make the hair cut into a fun experience for him and the best part was that my son could watch the buses go past outside and Debbie was able to get on with the hair cut with him distracted. She not only was able to distract him but also the hair cut was of high standard and let’s be honest, it’s hard to get a 2 year old to sit still so I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. But I’ll be honest, it was perfect and she understood his hair type and what style would suit him best from the get go.This is definitely going to be my go-to place for his haircuts now and I’m so thankful it’s no longer going to be such a traumatic experience for us all!”

“Great service! William and Ryan turned up on time and sent a message about 10 mins before arriving. Once at my home they cleaned the windows using a professional solution with purified water and shoulder pumps. I was really impressed with how quickly and efficiently ten windows on a 3-storey house were cleaned. Mossy corners were also meticulously tackled. My windows have never looked more clean! “I have a Volvo V70 2000, I had many lights showing on the dashboard and the car was not running as well as usual. I took it to my usual mechanic who could find what the problem was. I took the car to Glen at GB Autos and he found the problem straight away and although a replacement part cannot be found, he worked on re-soldering the part for me. I am delighted with the service offered at GB Autos and will be using them in the future. The service is excellent and the cost was reasonable , I am so glad that I found them.”

I am over 60 years of age and I have had about 12 to 15 dentists, by far all the work Dr Simpson has done for me has lasted and I have NOT had to go back the have the work already done to be corrected. “My experience with Smile Dental Implants was absolutely excellent. The dental implant surgeon was extremely careful to ensure absolute hygiene practices were in place. The operation was superb and I didn’t experience any pain at all. He provided reassurance throughout each stage and made to feel very comfortable. Photo updates are incredible and captures hilarious mid action moments from the day. Price is super reasonable as well. Charlie has also been to boarding with them and safe to say he has found a home away from home!”

“Excellent service and workmanship! I needed to have my old lead water pipe changed to a new plastic pipe running from my kitchen to the mains in the street. I contacted a few companies about this job, with one saying they couldn’t access the kitchen pipe very easily so quoted a high price, and another said the job was complex and would take 3 days, and then quoted an extremely high price. But thankfully, Martin at Smashing Groundwork’s knows exactly what he is doing due to his previous experience of working for SES water company. For Martin the job was straightforward and only took one day to complete. Reasonably priced too. So I was more than happy with the service and would definitely use this company again. I had my mum's ring, and my 2 nans rings and David got one made bigger, and the other rhodium plated so I could match with my platinum rings. With my mums ring, David gave the idea to use the stone for a necklace and with a platinum chain. He did such a good job, communication through text was really helpful once the pieces were ready to collect. Highly recommend our local gem of a jewellers.”
