“Being novice in kitchen installation, we tried to do some "window shopping" either online or by visiting in person a few kitchen specialists to discuss our project of renovating an old crumbling kitchen set. We were happily surprised by the quality and the variety of choice we have been shown at the Barnet showroom of Schmidt kitchens. We made up our mind after discussing with Sara Ristuccia the in-house designer. We felt really lucky to meet an experienced interior design professional with unlimited patience in listening our multiple ideas. Sara was instrumental in making us feel comfortable expressing our views, carefully explained the functional and decorative consequences (positives or negatives) of each one of our proposals. At the end of a few appointments and constructive feedback and guidance, she helped us finalise an extremely satisfactory design for a fully functional, enjoyable and easy to live kitchen. We strongly recommend anyone who wants a personal bespoke touch to their house to speak to her. “Monday evening I walk in to the barbers at 620pm. Barbers closes at 630pm. Wanting to look sharp for the next day, I was praying the barber was happy to stay potentially later than he had to. I could see on his face the dilemma he had but, after thinking about it for a second, he invited me in and was an absolute legend to chat to. Very grateful he fitted me in and thought he deserved for the world to know about it. Great haircut too.”

“I've finally managed to stop biting my nails after 40 years of trying and went here with some friends to get my nails done properly and painted. My fingers had a lot of bite damage around the edges when I went there, and my nails were not much better. However, I came out of there with nails looking brand new, shiny, and almost all of the damage has been cleared up. My nails look smashing, so smooth, and a deep shade of blue. Very impressed, highly recommend, definitely did a top job. Accidentally got gel nails, which will take some effort to get off, but it's been about 4 days and my nails still look as good as they did in the shop.”

“This morning I took delivery of a beautiful sideboard bought from Barnet Furniture centre. I was phoned to let me know the exact delivery time. It was a large heavy item and both men took great care to get it safely into my house. They did a really good job. Thankyou. I will certainly I will be back to visit the Centre. A great number of items in store, all good quality and well priced. Really helpful and friendly staff.”

I love her attention to detail where the colour is concerned, always discussing my needs beforehand and then making sure I'm happy with it afterwards. She offers really good advice too with regards to both colour and cut. The team are all lovely and friendly and there's a great cup of coffee. I highly recommend this salon.”

“This small mom and pop take-out shop serves good Chinese food that will not alarm or confuse local appetites. Been back a few times and it has not disappointed yet. However they only accept cash - no cards. Looks like they do a decent amount of delivery too. Friendly staff.”
