The service was second to none and we felt truly at home despite it being our first visit (of many, no doubt!). I popped in yesterday for fish and chips and sausages and was completely taken by surprise, the shop looks amazing, really really amazing. The family who run the business (Dad and three sons) were all working and were very welcoming. The menu has everything you would expect, and they still serve fried chicken (yum). The prices are as you would expect, no meal deals as yet - but they have only recently opened so maybe something for the future. The chips are delicious... really moreish. I heard once that you can judge a fish and chips restaurant by the chips and they were an accurate indication of the quality of the food. Fish portion was perfectly cooked and larger then expected, batter was light and fluffy, as with the battered sussage. Savaloy had the desired initial crunch while not being dry. I wish I had taken a photo of the place to go with the review. If you live locally have a walk past - looks amazing.”

The curries were rich and full of flavour — you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken tikka masala was creamy without being too heavy, and the lamb rogan josh had tender pieces of meat that melted in the mouth. Portion sizes were generous, and the naan bread was soft and fluffy (not greasy like some other takeaways). The spice level was just right — enough heat to keep it interesting but still very balanced. Customer service was great too — friendly and helpful when I called to check on my order. This has definitely become my go-to Indian takeaway in Bromley. Highly recommend if you want authentic, high-quality Indian food!”

Food was great - (well to be precise we only had their fish & chips but as that was really good I’m sure the rest is too!). “Have been ordering from Mumbai kitchen for 3 years now, at least once a month I will treat myself to their "Your choice meal", for a decent price you get a full meal: main, side (or starter), choice of rice, poppadom and naan. When I collect myself is always ready within 20 min of ordering, when asking delivery, it's quicker than most deliveries. Staff is always friendly and smily, so always a good experience. Finally, food is tasty and good size portions.”
