“This pub is fantastic. Music Friday Saturday Sunday. All staff and landlady friendly. Due to recent reviews there are a few horrible reviews from a sour ex partner that is an alcoholic and was caught drink drinking 5 times over the limit. Please ignore them as these are being handled in the appropriate manner. Please come see for yourself, before putting this pub at the bottom of your list. Landlady is professional, helpful and very friendly”

“Ordered a jollof to taste and it was super tasty! Tomatoey and herby very seasoned rice. They say when the rice is nice and fresh then everything else is also, eager to try their stewed chicken next! Only grabbed the jollof quickly as I needed to get to work after, but definitely will be coming back!”

Good choice of many options on the menu, including full English breakfast (served until 3pm) burgers, steaks, sandwiches, soup, etc. Chose Ham eggs and chips, with a side of mushrooms. Good food, freshly cooked and served quickly. Staff friendly and very polite. Highly recommended.”
