“Had a session booked yesterday with Christian. Felt apprehensive due to a poor experience with a previous tatooist. Done an absolute amazing job of a coverup! I was completely blown away with his level of expertise and professionalism. His ability to change and tweak the design, incorporating everything I wanted with a fine tooth comb. This man is a perfectionist, a true artist with skill and ability in abundance. If you want the best then I suggest you book with this man, all of his work is exquisite. He's a wonderful example of a great service, including after care, not to mention he's hilarious and i had such a good laugh! His shop does so many other services too, from botox and filler or tattooed brows, with a professional beautician, or a hair cut with a barber. 110 out of 100.”

“I was tattooed by Chantay. She designed an oya/Ghana piece for me in honour of my heritage. The artists at the studio were kind, chill, and very accommodating. The studio was very tidy and clean. Chantay was very patient with me and listened to when i needed to chill and take a break. I will most definitely go back and get tattooed by her again. Thank you.”

“I got my first ever tattoo at Ink We Trust in Eltham by the lovely Kat! The atmosphere in the shop is very welcoming and Kat made me feel comfortable and made sure the placement and size was how i wanted it. She even gave me suggestions how i should position it as i was a bit unsure and now i love the placement. Throughout getting the tattoo done Kat made sure to check up on me and we had chats during the process that eased my stress Overall… Kat is a lovely tattoo artist :D”

I spoke to Megan on reception first, who couldn’t be more friendly and approachable, to discuss my chosen artwork. Having previously visited 6 or 7 tattoo parlours in Chelmsford before making an appointment with Lost World Tattoos,,6 out of the 7 recommended Danni to design the tattoo I was wanting to have done. I don’t think she is aware, but Danni has built-up quite the reputation for portrait work and her attention to detail is second to none. It’s obvious she enjoys her work by the quality of the tattoos she reproduces. Danni has the ability to bring your chosen design to life. So, if you are considering having a tattoo, particularly your first, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Lost World Tattoo’s. “I would rate D 10 stars if I could. I had unfortunately an embedded cartilage piercing from Mariah Tash. It was so embedded the back of the piercing completely disappeared. He has been extremely calming and patient whilst determined to help me to get the embedded back out. I cannot recommend enough how much he’s saved my life here or else I would have to go to A&E to cut it out. I will never go to any other piercer again. I shall be back when I am healed. Thank you”

“I had a beautiful experience here at the inkcubator, it’s a very warm and welcoming tattoo studio. All the staff are lovely and really do make sure you’re comfortable. I had a tattoo booking by Charlie and she done a brilliant job, I’m definitely impressed & happy with my tattoo. “I had my very first tattoo completed by Jazmyn yesterday, and she has done an exceptional job. She was gentle, patient and understanding. I had some lovely conversations with her. I seriously couldnt recommend her more for first or returning tattoos! She made my black//grey valkyrie wings & rune tattoo come to life and I cant wait to see it healed. Jazmyn has provided me with an aftercare sheet informing me how to properly look after my new ink. She lets me know that if I have any questions or concerns at all- I can always message her. The shop itself is professional and clean. All the artists are welcoming and kind. I was never on edge or felt judged at my time in there. I was offered a sweet halfway through to keep my sugar up. “Possibly the best shop displays that lve seen in London for over 2 decades. Items are lovingly placed in colour zones or according to interests, hobbies, or gift themes. There's a fun small games shelf, lots of portable personal grooming kits, gardening books, crazily shaped vases, querky jewellery in the children's section at the back. If you need wrapping paper for your purchase there's plenty of choice here. They seem to have a regular customer base who are lucky to have this gem on their doorstep.”

“Just finished using Gimcyn Moonstone from Impera Italia, and I’m in love with the result! The finish is incredible with a subtle, elegant shimmer that changes beautifully with the light. It added a luxurious, modern feel to the room without being overpowering. Truly stunning—would highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their space! I used a standard paintbrush in a criss-cross motion, you can leave it as is if you like the textured look of the brush strokes—it actually creates a nice effect, but after finishing a small section, I waited about 14–15 minutes, then followed Impera Italia’s recommendation and went in with the sponge (also sold by them) for the final finish. Quick tip: Don’t wait too long before using the sponge—if the paint dries too much, it won’t work properly. But also, don’t go in too soon, or the sponge might lift the paint off. The key is to let it set just enough. Test a small area first to make sure the timing is right. Pictures don't do it justice.”

“My daughter and I both had piercings done with Jakob. My daughter is 12 and was having 2nd piercings done in her ears, I was having a helix. Jacob was so lovely and down to earth, putting us both at ease and he explained the whole process to us. I was quite nervous (moreso than my daughter who didn't even flinch!) but Jakob was very confident and efficient, chatting to us throughout the process. All the equipment used was very clean and sterile and Jakob talked us through aftercare. Honestly, this is the second piercing I've had done in World of Tattoos and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend Jakob.”
