“If you want your child nurtured, looked after, encouraged to grow and learn in a safe and secure environment, Kintore Way is all of this and much, much more. Having had 3 children attend, over a total period of 12 years, we could not be happier with the care they have all received alongside the invaluable support and advice that we as parents have received over the years from all of the staff, from nappy training to food fussiness, their advice is always well informed and offered both freely and kindly. In terms of continuity, we are amazed that many of the staff caring for our 2 year old daughter today, are the same staff who looked after our (almost) 13 year old son from the age of 7 months in the baby unit (now closed). This is a clear indication, in an industry renowned for a high turnover of staff, that this is good place to work, that staff enjoy caring for the children, take immense pride in the huge roles that they play in the children’s development and also that management understand the value of this team, that they support and encourage them. This comes across in the welcoming friendly atmosphere that is always present at Kintore Way. The facilities are secure, spotlessly clean and well maintained, the garden area is always used to its full potential, the children have a wide choice of activities to undertake both indoors and outdoors and are encouraged to do so. Any achievements , however big or small, are praised and always recognised. My daughter loves it as much today as her brothers did 13 years and 7 years ago, it’s part of our family story, even I attended nearly 4 decades ago! I could go on……. but in summary, if you are looking for an amazing nursery, with the most caring, loving, encouraging and professional staff, who take pride in their role nurturing and preparing your child for the next step of their journey into education, primary school, you’ve found it.”

“Kerry is my ‘go to ‘ beauty therapist in Barnes, and I book a visit at least every 6 weeks. She is a really lovely person, who creates such a little haven in her salon. She is always very thorough and professional and I always leave feeling polished and relaxed . A particular plus for me is that when I’m having my mani/ pedi’s it’s a real treat to have the privacy that Kerry’s salon offers and the freedom to either / chat/ watch tv/ do emails or just simply relax. Highly recommended!!”

“This school has such a special place in my (and my children’s) heart. The attentiveness, kindness and care of all the teachers/staff is unmatched. I love that they put heart into making the environment warm and homey; and it has a great garden space too. They truly care about getting to know your child and they care about you as a parent as well. The school has a beautiful parent & child group where my child and I met many friends. It also has a wonderful, tight-knit community within the school. They even offer parent workshops from time to time that really make us parents feel supported through different phases of our kids life. I have so much more to say but I’ll leave with this being said: the greatest gift you can give to your child is to let their imagination be encouraged and nurtured in a safe environment - and this school is it.”

“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. “We are so far extremely pleased with the school. All the staff we came across have been very dedicated and professional; parents and kids are friendly and polite. The school has undergone complete refurbishment and the new buildings are great! Very spacious playground with good equipment and two entrances (one is close to West Harrow Station, which is great for commuting).”

“Contrary to other reviews, this is a good and supportive school with well educated staff and teachers. They are also not extremely strict like other schools which allows students here to form their identities without being stripped of their personal Liberty and freedom of self expression (like some other schools). Multicultural and diverse, you have students from all sorts of different backgrounds which enables you to mingle and form relationships with people from cultures all across the world. The education system is supportive. Staff is supportive. Cantine food is mediocre. I don’t know how things have changed from when I left 5 years ago, but from the time I was here, I enjoyed my secondary school experience. Other schools have it a lot worse, at friern Barnet you were enabled to be educated while not being autonomously ruled.”

“Gonville Academy, the school that has gone through generations of children, the school in which my older siblings (and me obviously) have spent 8 fun filled years in. This is the school, that helped me with MEH FLIPPIN MATHS problems, this is the school that helped me when I felt down. This is the school that you must surely sent your child to. I've recently left the 6th and final year and i can downright say, that this school, Gonville Academy is the best school ever. Not exaggerating here either. Hence, I give Gonville Academy a whopping 10/10 (or 5 stars because thats how we have to rate it here”

Bhs is a gdst school which means girls day school trust. This means it is a school for girls. Secondly, the people saying that this school was or is getting shut down are lying. The senior school is getting rebuilt in some areas and should be finished by this year.”
