“I boarded my cat and dog with Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery for the first time as our usual kennels and cattery were fully booked. I went to take a look and was very impressed by the very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I could tell immediately that they put the welfare of the pets first. They were very good at explaining how the kennels work on a daily basis. I booked in two trial days for our Labrador and then both my cat and dog stayed for two weeks. I had very regular photos and it was obvious they were both enjoying their stay. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my pets in an exceptional manner. “What a lovely place and service. Raj has been truly amazing in devoting his time and patience to desensitising my dog who was severly anxious of vet visits in the past. He has won his trust and confidence and can now be examined and treated while remaining calm - he is a different dog and Raj a "dog whisperer"! Also special mention to the reception staff who are always so friendly, especially Lizzie who never fails to greet us with a smile and genuine interest.”

“Yesterday I phoned because my cat was having difficulty swallowing. I got through straightaway to a receptionist who was kind and understanding and gave me an immediate appointment. At the appointment the vet was clear about the problem, the cost, and next actions and possible outcomes. My cat was treated and we took her home a few hours later. Some grass was lodged in her throat and she had lost a lot of weight. The cost of £275 was well worth it. Thank you so much for your compassionate care.”
