“Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

“This is our Fifth time in here. Never failed. We had the Brunch menu, my Lily had crêpe and she said it is tastes like pancakes which she likes very much. And my Ami had a nice chicken burger. “We have been going to waterhead Tandoori for quite a few years now, and after promising we will leave a review, it's not before time. If you want excellent well prepared and cooked food, this is the place. The food is always excellent, the service is prompt, the premises are so clean you could literally eat your meal off the floor, and Al, is the nicest most polite guy you could ever hope to meet. He's always pleasant, upbeat, and is genuinely interested in how your day has been. The chefs are on full view hard at work, and everything seems to run like clockwork. Myself and Christine, cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks again to Al and his team of excellent chefs, we will continue to buy our curries from this clean, pleasant, well run establishment. “This place has certainly become my go-to option on Uber Eats. Always some decent promotions going on with some food items on half the price. I must say I am always impressed with the packaging and quantity of food. The containers are absolutely loaded up to the brim, and the food is delicious. There are lots of options to choose from from the menu. I love the concept of 3 different gravies on a portion of rice, with each bite having a different taste to it. I have ordered about 4 times already, and I am always craving for more. Their chapatis are bang on. Can't fault much about them, to be honest. If suggestions are asked for, then perhaps they need to improve on their delivery times. Can take up to 100 minutes on a Friday. Also, might also need to hold off on the extra layer of oil added on every portion . It makes the food slightly oily and less clean. Love from barkwell lane”

“Great Indian supermarket, fresh herbs, garlic, chilli ( lots of varietys) at about half the normal supermarket price. Lots and lots of dried beans , peas, lentils and other pulses , a very good range of ground spices and curry mixs in different size bags from about 250g upto 1kg A good range of jars of curry sauce / pastes . Huge bags of rice. A good range of oils A limited range of yoghurt, butter, cold drinks . Some kitchen equipment like sives, huge pans, tin openers. But the best thing is the staff , they are friendly and accommodating and can answer all sorts of questions regarding their stock , like how to cook things , what would go best with different sauces , how to prepare / store the fresh herbs and spices.”

I don't see what the moan is about with paying cash.. small business trying to survive without paying silly amounts in transaction fee or just eat/uber taking their 33% cuts.
