“MLC supported me through a protracted fight with the Home Office in obtaining a tourist VISA for my Colombian friend after the UK suddenly reinstated the requirement for Colombians to have tourist VISAs at the end of December 2024. From Tameem’s oversight and strategic advice to Courtney’s excellent and fully comprehensive application and supporting documents, the service and advice was excellent. When the Home Office sent an error ridden reply and refused the initial application, Tameem advised on options. After a complaint was not upheld we started a Pre Action Protocol for Judicial Review which finally forced the Home Office to revisit the application and, after three months, grant the VISA and issue an apology.
