“Great Brunch place! Had a brioche with avocado, scrambled egg and spicy mayo. Was very delicious and portions were big! Service was also very friendly.”
“Very nice food would recommend great prices and extremely friendly service”
“What can I say! I’ve been coming daily to Kickback for my morning coffee for over three years. The coffee is excellent, that’s a given. It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. They work incredibly hard and are a credit to the wider Kickback team. If I could give 6 stars I would!”
“Called in here for lunch with my wife, and the food was delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful.”
“Recently moved into the area and always pop in before my morning train to work. Amazing coffee & the guys are very friendly. Would highly recommend.”
“Beautiful independent coffee shop. I ordered the Guest Espresso - Friedhats Ethiopian; the strength and flavour were phenomenal, it had a rich sweetness to it. It was really cool to watch their process too.”
“I love this place and do not need to add anything more!”
“My favorite things to get from here are the 24h cold brews and the sausage roll! They’re so good, especially after a pilates session. All of the cakes / pastries are *chef kiss*”
“Taka was very lovely and enthusiastic. Cheerful attitude definitely put a smile on my face even through the frustration of all the trains have been cancelled. Thank you for being kind”
“Visit here regular, with my girlfriend. As she rides her horses past this hidden gem! The food is always piping hot and the cakes…. They’re exceptional Wow I’ll leave that there. The drinks are made to exactly how you ask! I always have coconut milk and there’s no questions asked! The owners Dane and Jenny are so friendly and down to earth. Can’t fault it”
“If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx”
“Kane is an amazing individual and a great cup of coffee. I found him through his tues-thurs at fell bar in chorlton and now I’m a regular at both. Great person, great coffee, would 100% recommend!”
“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”
“My new favorite breakfast spot! The staff here are absolutely amazing, so warm, welcoming, and kind. As someone who’s shy and Muslim, it means a lot to feel genuinely comfortable in a new place. They go out of their way to make sure I’m looked after, and they even adjust the food to fit my needs without me having to ask twice. It honestly feels like home. What touched me the most? They remembered my last order. That small gesture made me feel seen and appreciated. Highly recommend!”
“Superb speed and quality of goods. Was unsure if I could sit inside so just grabbed to go. Will definitely visit again”
“Cute, charming, and so friendly - I’ll definitely be back. (Psst - try the bacon sarnie on sourdough!)”
“Worthwhile visit at any time, lunch choices are great, and also just popping in for a brew and cake is recommended. Now they have an alcohol licence, popping in for a cocktail is on the cards. Great place, warm vibes.”
“Always a warm welcome and even the customers are friendly. The coffee is the best in Manchester. The homemade cakes are delicious but get there early as they can sell out especially if I’ve been in. Ashtons best kept secret.”
“Great lunch during work Popped in, purchased a bagel and sat by one of the seats by the window. It was very peaceful, the bagel was delicious and so was the coffee. The cafe is really bright and open, making it a good spot to have a chill hang-out.”
“Nice coffee and atmosphere The staff was very welcoming Tried pistachio latte and it was good Their vegan cheese sandwich was yummy”
“Really tasty breakfast, cooked well and prepared very quickly. It’s a small cafe, so space is a bit limited. But then in a way that’s nice, nothing worse than a huge noisy place. Big car park at the back too, which is handy. Great cafe!”
“We called in for the first time on Saturday morning and were really impressed by the quality of the food and drinks on offer and the standard of the service. One of the best cups of coffee available!”
“I had the pleasure of visiting Cameron’s Tea and Coffee Shop for the first time today, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic selection to choose from. It's clear they take pride in providing high-quality service and food. I’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food and friendly service!”
“A busy coffee shop but full of character. The menu and food are amazing and serve the best brunch, juices and health fixes. A great variety of teas and coffees too”
“I had the pleasure of trying traditional Fredo espresso here, and it was incredible. Rich, strong, and perfectly brewed with — every sip felt authentic and comforting. The aroma alone was enough to wake me up, and the taste was smooth with just the right touch of bitterness. It’s the kind of coffee you want to take your time with and truly enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality and tradition in their coffee!”
“The food is amazing, and the staff are awesome and welcoming. Very much my happy place!”
“I’ve heard so much about their famous matcha, and today I finally had the chance to try it. The staff recommended the freshly arrived Matcha 22, and it truly lived up to the hype – rich, authentic Japanese flavor and incredibly smooth. Absolutely delicious! Both staff members were super friendly and welcoming, especially the lady! Great drinks, great service – I’ll definitely be back!”
“This was a really charming and friendly tea shop where I stopped for a breakfast and a cuppa. It was good food, hot and the server was super friendly. Would recommend”
“Came here almost everyday during a week stay in Chorlton. Great coffee, pastries and vibes. Staff is friendly and the front patio seating is lovely to people(and dog) watch.”
“Now we’re talking. La Collina was a treat - they have a short, simple home-made lunch menu. I had gnocchi with Bolognaise sauce. Perfect portion size. Coffee was delicious and forced myself to have a pistachio cannoli alongside it. Matt the chef is a focused on flavour and dishes with a twist - you can taste it. Nice space to work from too. Back soon. BACK AGAIN: La Collina is a hidden gem. The menu is developing from daytime only into an evening offering too. Matt, the creator and chef is passionate about the menu. New menu dropping in mid August. Go there.”
