“We enjoyed a lovely Saturday evening at Rosa tonight. The food was lovely and tasty, however slightly slow being served but we were given some free olives to tide us by. We want to particularly point out the excellent service from all of the staff, especially from the main waiter (with the tattoos sorry didnt get his name). Very catering for children- they made particular effort to bring her food out first. We would definitely recommend and will return again”

“We have stayed at the hotel quite a number of times over the years and cannot praise it enough. From the moment of stepping through the doors and into the reception area, you are made to feel so welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and the high end finish for a standard room was exceptional. We loved it! The food was excellent, too! As for the staff, well, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel! Special mention needs to be given to Billy behind the bar for his help, patience and guidance with 'something technical' that left me able to use a new mobile phone purchased from the Tesco store next door! So, location wise the hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants!”

“I was taken to oodles by a friend who's been several times before. As I normally don't try a new place without recommendations I was expecting something good. Place was packed out, but service was lightning quick! It's a simple idea, but it works really well. You pick the small, medium or large box then add sides and mains. Medium box was packed full and I struggled to finish it so you're going to have to be hungry if you go for the large box. Food was tasty and starters were just as good. Highly recommended for anyone who likes Chinese food especially if you're in a rush!”

“It is one of the best pizzerias in town, if not the best. The pizzas are piping hot, fresh, well prepared with love and passion. I had had their Pepperoni, Tandoori Chicken and Jerk Chicken pizzas previously and they were all scrumptious and flavorsome, highlighting their commitment to making a pizza most suitable for your appetite. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a place with not only good-quality but freshly served pizzas with an absolutely lovely and cordial atmosphere thanks to the wonderful people running the place! “Love this cafe. As a veggie the soup of the day was chicken but the owner James set to and made me the most delicious mushroom and sweetcorn soup ever . The prices cant be beaten in this place (large full English £4.95) and the menu extensive with a mix of English and Carribean all sounds delicious. James looks so calm under pressure as he was alone cooking and serving when we called in but everyone served in no time..my favourite place to eat when in Bolton.”

“The Royal is an hidden gem the food is outstanding all home cooked, and excellent value for money. The menu caters for all, the Sunday lunches are amazing all freshly prepared and if you don’t have room for your dessert you can take it home. The homemade pies a choice of Cheese or Meat are freshly made by Alison are a worth a try they are delicious. It is well worth a visit and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff go above and beyond they are so friendly especially Alison & Nicola.”

“Number 1 Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. Some serious connoisseurs of Asian cuisine amongst our group. Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. Will be back again next week, top tier place- give it a try!”

“The steak was really nice when we visited earlier in the month. We had a seafood platter and king platter to share. There was a lot of meat on the king platter and meat was very tender. As it was a Thursday, it was really quiet and no one in the restaurant until we were nearly finished. The staff were really friendly and nice to the kids as they played around the table.”

“Another visit to Achari tonight! (27/11/25) and yet to have less than a 5 ⭐️ meal in there. Ended up bringing half my meal home and there’s enough for another meal for me!!! We were ‘warned’ the Achari sauce in the pickle tray tonight was ‘hot’ but we found it amazing - as usual!! Only Indian restaurant we ever go to now in Bolton.”

“Travel to hear a good 30 mins as has the best curry for us ..had bin a bit hit and miss lately, prices gone up too but generally would recommend. Can be a wait for order but that's a good sign as busy busy .”
