“Zena Bees Cafe is amazing food here is delicious. I had the big breakfast muffin omg it was tasty and filling. Well worth the money and visit here. The cafe is clean and service is outstanding.”

“Visited today, with my friend and my toddler. They didn’t have many options for kids but that’s fine as my son was more interested in a sausage roll from the bakery. The food me and my friend had though was absolutely delicious, really well made. The coffee was really good quality too, a really well made cup of coffee not burnt or too hot.”

“8 of us oldies for lunch after a walk round the reservoirs. Excellent position both for Delph and the hills. 2 course lunch for £11 and it was good, all enjoyed a variety of meals. Good service and busy.”

“Large function room and friendly staff. There is also a large beer garden on the side of the pub and a carpark. Ideal place for a quick catch up with friends or a quick pint with the family. The weavers arms also likes to entertain and have charity events and jam nights on a Wednesday, highly recommended if you like live music or play an instrument or just do a little karaoke. They have a tap room with a pool table and darts board and also have teams that play for the pub. Good atmosphere and good people if you're looking for a new local, I recently had a surprise party there and it was an awesome night.”

“A gem of a place, whether you’re enjoying the outside space or sat inside. I an a coeliac and thr menu had some great choices. Great bar too. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Really great staff, friendly and informative. Definitely added to my favourites list. Thanks - lived the peacocks too”

“Perfect local pub. Family friendly, great atmosphere, warm welcome and so, so friendly. Great range of beers and spirits and an unrivalled juke box. Large room for functions with djaying facilities and in the summer there are plenty of tables outside with beautiful views over the green and beyond, all the way to Winter Hill in Horwich. Thank you for making us feel at home. Lots of laughs and a great day/night. Stayed far too long! Will definitely return again and again and again! :-)”

“Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”

It’s rare these days to find a restaurant where the owners are so hands-on, personally checking in to make sure everything is perfect. That level of care really sets this place apart. “I went with my mum a few weeks ago and it was our first time going since it changed from Kitty's. While I noticed some things were different the important stuff was the same. The food was great, the service was lovely, and in typical fashion we were so full we needed to take the rest home! The cakes are, as always, incredible and you can tell a lot of effort went into them!”

“We have been going to waterhead Tandoori for quite a few years now, and after promising we will leave a review, it's not before time. If you want excellent well prepared and cooked food, this is the place. The food is always excellent, the service is prompt, the premises are so clean you could literally eat your meal off the floor, and Al, is the nicest most polite guy you could ever hope to meet. He's always pleasant, upbeat, and is genuinely interested in how your day has been. The chefs are on full view hard at work, and everything seems to run like clockwork. Myself and Christine, cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks again to Al and his team of excellent chefs, we will continue to buy our curries from this clean, pleasant, well run establishment. “Fabulous Chinese meals and curry sauce”

“A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”

“Open for 2months, were went for the first time and everyone loved it. We were quick to be seated, staff very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed the meal, the settings are very plush and modern. Will be back with bigger family. Mixed started flavours were spots on, the Sanah special burger was tasty and the naan were some of the best around. Bit pricey but you certainly worth it.”

“I've been using this chippy for the last 40yrs plus and it is by far the best in the area Sue the owner is great although I think she's retired now and her children run it,if you fancy a Chinese then give this place a try ,you won't be disappointed.”

“I came here today with my dog & it was like stepping back in time to my grandmas kitchen on a Saturday morning in the nicest way . The staff was so welcoming and warm especially with me having the dog . The atmosphere was just so wholesome it really felt like I was just in my grans kitchen . The decor is very very clean & the food was absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had . But hers sausage and bacon perfect orange yoky eggs with load of yoke , thick cut toast . Everything about it was beautiful so it looks like il be driving 40 mins for a breakfast every week . I also went alone with the dog which I’ve never ate alone before and not once did I felt uncomfortable.”
