“I took a Search and Social Media Marketing Strategy course at Salford Business School last week and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone interested in growing their online presence. The balance between learning new practical tools and tricks and setting a big picture strategy was brilliant, just what I needed. Since the course I have implemented many of the things I leant on the day and genuinely can see the results already. Strongly recommended.”

“Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family”

“The most welcoming, friendly and fun studio in Manchester! The instructors are fantastic, supportive and work to your level in every class. The variety of classes on offer far outstrips any other studio in Manchester and they offer great value for money. Easily accessible, just 10 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, if you are looking to start out or to drop by and practice insane tricks, Polefire is without a doubt the best place to go!”

The Lyric Theatre (at The Lowry)

“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”

“I had a great experience viewing New Maker Yards today. Dan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire tour. He answered all my questions clearly and made the whole process feel easy and relaxed. His understanding of the development and the local area really stood out, and he made sure I had all the information I needed before deciding to reserve. Would highly recommend Dan as an agent genuinely one of the best viewing experiences I’ve had!”

“Great option for someone who wants their children to learn Greek! The teachers are knowledgeable and with great skills. They are very supportive with the children and the parents. My son started nursery this year and he really enjoys the lessons every Saturday morning. He has got new friends, enriches his vocabulary, has more confidence in Greek language and he really loves his teacher. Highly recommended to families of Manchester!”

    Ballet Contours

“After 20 years away from ballet (and off pointe!), I decided to back to adult ballet about 20 kilos heavier and with horribly out of shape arches! Heather's studio is tucked away under a railway bridge so is a little noisy at times, but other than that, it's a gorgeous experience. Heather herself is gentle and sweet, super encouraging (not at all like Madame Pauline when I was young!) and the best thing is: THIS IS A FULLY DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE STUDIO! I wasn't the only person my age (40s), there were all genders (including trans and non-binary people) and ages and colours, which was lovely and welcoming. My class had a working dad in his 50s, who was just as comfy alongside me as the younger, fitter kids. Really loved it and if you can't make it to Salford, Heather offers online courses as well, which are just as challenging and fun!”
