“I have not been to this pub for fourteen years, but on Saturday 26th I went with work colleagues for a curry for my retirement and ended up in The Wheatsheaf. The Staff were brilliant young and vibrant, it was karaoke and everyone felt at ease the locals were very friendly. It was a good atmosphere and all had a great time.”

“Well this was my first experience here, it was recommended by a friend to take my children and experience delicious grilled food. I have the most pickiest of children that you can image but boy did the food here amaze them and have them licking their fingers! The service was second to none, the staff was warm and friendly and really made the kids feel welcome and safe. The starters, right through to the mains were beautifully presented and full of flavour, moist and juicy to the very last bite. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to sit down with friends and family and enjoy a meal that will leave an impression. Definitely worth the drive up north! “Visiting Stockport for the day and saw this place did vegan pizza, so thought we would give it a try. They have an amazing offer for a 12" pizza for 6.95, either vegan pepperoni or veggie. We chose the veggie (violife cheese) and it was lovely. The best vegan pizza we have had. Lovely thin and crispy base! The cheesy garlic bread 5.95 was also beautifully cooked and very tasty! If you are vegan stop by, you won't be disappointed. A lovely, fresh, hot lunch for 14.95 (pizza, garlic bread and a can of san pelligrino). Thank you Fireaway!”

“Really nice vegan restaurant. Service was good. Had to flag down waiter to get more drinks and food was a little slow in coming out but possibly that is because we were a larger party (8). The food did come out all tigether so happy with it. Portion sizes were decent for the price. They look small but are incredibly filling. I had the Mezze and Qurma (you do need to order rice as a side). It was very filling. The place is small but I think makes for an excellent atmosphere.”

“Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. “The food was great, Borek for starters very nice and the POLLO REINA for main. The chicken was so tender with a smokey grilled taste under the creamy garlic white wine sauce. Even the peppers within the sauce were so tasty. My partner and I were so extremely blessed that they let us have the top floor to ourselves, which really made our night. “I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!”

“This place is lovely , my friend and I meet up about once a month and this is becoming our go to for a morning coffee and small bite to eat. It's clean and tidy and plenty of space to get between tables. The staff are all very pleasant and don't leave you hanging about for drinks and soon after comes the food. The poached eggs on toast was done to perfection and the iced coffee was lovely , my friend enjoyed her cheese crumpets too. Lovely place to go for a chat and catch up .”

“This place is amazing! I first got introduced to this place by my boyfriend nearly a year ago. Each time we go, we try and get something new but it's hard not to get the same thing each time because we love the food so much! The trio garlic bread is amazing, and we always have that as a starter, and then change what we have as another starter, to go with the garlic bread. The staff are lovely and know us well now and are always exctionally well. We never have any complaints about this place.”

“First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. “This is very fresh and young HK style restaurant. The restaurant was decorated with a lot of photos and videos related a famous band Mirror. The dishes were innovative and delicious. The staff were friendly too. Having meal there was cozy.”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”
