“I couldn't fault the service I received from Petstay at all. Jason was so friendly and found me the perfect pet sitter for my dog Pixie. I was initially extremely nervous as the only sitter available for my dates away was a lady with 2 dogs of her own. My dog is an only dog and is unashamedly a bit of a 'princess', so I wasn't sure how she'd cope. I have left her in kennels previously, and she didn't settle at all and lost a lot of weight, so I was uncomfortable leaving her again for 2 weeks, whilst we were away in America. I met with Dianne and her 2 dogs, when Pixie and I went for an initial home visit. Dianne is such a natural 'dog' person and is clearly very experienced at owning dogs and she made me feel so at ease and asked all the right questions about Pixie and wanted to find out as much as she could about her, to make her stay go well. We even agreed to go on a couple of walks together before Pixies stay, so I could see where Pixie would be walked and so the dogs could get use to each other beforehand. I was really nervous about leaving Pixie and thought it would spoil my holiday, to constantly be worrying about her but Dianne and I had agreed that we would keep in touch throughout the holiday with little updates and photos now and again, this meant I could really enjoy my holiday and Pixie could enjoy her time away too. After picking Pixie up she has settled back into life at home again and I would have absolutely no hesitation using Dianne again and would recommend using Petstay to anyone (and have already recommended them to my veterinary practice).”

“I've taken my rather nervous lab here a few times and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. The first time (before lockdown) it was no problem to sit in reception so he could see me. After that he was fine and the staff are just great. He comes out looking and smelling devine and I don't need to think about another visit for at least 3 or 4 months. Recommended.”

“Absolutely love Snobby Dogs and so does my doggy. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed here for years and they have always done a fantastic job. The accessories available are spot on too, my doggy loves her winter puffer jacket, so does anyone who sees her in it also! The fuss they make of my doggy whilst she is in their care has made her anxiousness disappear and she now strolls in and gets excited that she’s having a groom! The bows on the collar are a lovely little bonus and we have a great picture they took from last Christmas of her in a sleigh after her groom looking very pleased about her new ‘do!”

We got our little Dachshund just as we entered the first lockdown, so there was inevitable anxiety around a lack of socialising, but DC has ensured our pup is so confident and happy around other dogs. The staff are so attentive and update me with honest feedback whenever I ask for it. The picture/video updates during the day of all the dogs having fun, regular themed parties throughout the year and goody bags are all examples of extra touches which makes this such a great day-care. “Twice a year, I go here to buy a huge bag of kibble for my dog. I can't lift the bag. The staff always, take it to till, then carry it to my car for me. They are always so friendly, kind and helpful.”

“I discovered Barkley and Fetch in a pet shop in Bakewell, I love the patterns and designs of their products. Since then I have been buying collars on line not only for me but our son’s dogs too. We love them. They wash and wear really well and the quality is excellent. We love the colourful designs and the more neutral ones too. I can recommend Barkley and Fetch and currently have my eye on a doggie bag for walks.”

I have a German Shepard who is very energetic, has anxiety (due to being a lockdown dog) and isn’t best behaved around other dogs. Ruth takes the time out to ensure there are no other dogs in whilst she is grooming Redd! He’s great around her and very trusting. I’m relocating and wouldn’t take my dog to any other groomer now.
