They take part in some wonderful activities. To see her run to the door ( and more recently ) gave me sit outside early as she can’t wait to get in, is a credit to the staff. “My daughter joined the nursery 4 days a week over extended hours just before she turned 1. As a new parent I was really nervous about this but was immediately put at ease by the staff. My daughter started with a few settling in mornings and then began nursery the following week. Over the course of the 7 weeks I have seen my daughters progress updated on the ‘Famly’ app. This will tell you exactly what she has eaten and drank and how much, nappy changes and her sleep. The app is also updated with key information for the nursery along with pictures and progress of your child. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough, when my daughter leaves for nursery in the mornings she happy to go and she comes home with a beaming smile and I can tell she’s had lots of fun. The staff at the nursery will go above and beyond to ensure not only your child is settled within the nursery but also check you are ok and send pictures and updates throughout those first few days.”

The pre-school staff are beyond excellent and my child has learnt so much to prepare for primary school during their time at Honey Bears. The activities are varied and well thought through. Can’t recommend Honey Bears enough.”

“Our daughter currently attends Ramillies Hall Nursery and she is absolutely thriving, thanks to the kind, caring, nurturing and dedicated team of staff. The Nursery is set in beautiful surroundings which the children are lucky enough to regularly enjoy. The children spend hours outside playing, engaging in planned activities and heading off on welly walks through the grounds and fields. Communication is also spot on, if you have any concerns on drop off, the staff happily keep you updated throughout the day. You are also regularly updated with your child’s progress, including meetings and written reports and most importantly the feedback you receive, certainly in our case, highlights how well the staff know your child. Overall our daughter is happy, she loves Nursery and the staff who care for her. We couldn’t recommend Ramillies highly enough!”

“Chapel Street Primary School is an exceptional school with exceptionally dedicated staff. Children are very welcoming and very ambitious. I had great pleasure to work with the staff to help them create a curriculum that matters. During my time at the school I had the opportunity to see the great improvements children had made in their learning. Year 6 children working on the circulatory system were fired up by what they had learned with one boy going on to research the part the brain plays in ensuring the heart remains healthy. Younger children studying the digestive system were fascinated to learn about what happens to their food. The way the staff support this enquiry based learning is a joy to observe. This is a school that is going places, ensuring that children are not just learning but that they are improving their long-term memory. In other words, they are very much into making a difference through improving the knowledge the children will take with them for the rest of their lives.”

“Absolutely brilliant nursery, our son when he started in June had delayed social interaction and speech. He’s come on leaps and bounds and he really enjoys his time at the learning hive. All the staff are great with him, especially Ellie who spends a lot of time one on one with our son. I couldn’t recommend the learning hive enough.”

She talks about how she used to help at meal times she honestly treasures the memories. She made friends whom one of them went to the same high school and they love each other dearly. “My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!”
