“My experience of this school. Looking as an outsider ...it's not good ...staff complacent to the children's lives whether it is bullying or illness mental or physical there's a feeling that they just don't give a dam...as long as it dosent happen on school grounds ..seems they don't teach morals anymore either just the curriculum..collect their paycheck and forget about their pupils ..time to pull their socks up..”

“Great place to learn to sail. Coarse was over 2days at the weekend and this one was run by Chris. He explained all that would be involved for us to do throughout the coarse. We spent half the time each day out on the water and the only issue was lack of wind but was still able to get practice in to pass the coarse. Very relaxed friendly place and the young volunteers who help us were very understanding of us being novices. Due to issues of lack of wind had been offered couple free sessions when we want to help us get more experience. Would recommend this outdoor centre to all wanting to learn to sail or do other water based activities.”

“Fantastic preschool setting with very passionate and caring staff. My daughter attended this preschool and I cannot recommend it enough. It was a huge factor in her development especially during covid when the usual socialisation opportunities were extremely few and far between. Now she has started school and teacher's positive feedback on her preparedness level starting reception, social skills and confidence prompted me to write this review. Children are offered a wide range of activities and learning opportunities as well as fantastic support to explore and develop their personalities. Keep up the good work!”

“I can't fault this nursery my 7month old has been going here now for a while. The staff are all very professional with excellent standards for my child. He was nervous to start with and didn't want me to leave him but the staff made him feel welcome and now he has the brightest smile ever when I take him into the baby's room. “My daughter left this school last year with fantastic results. She was always very happy and despite not knowing anyone when she started in year 7 she settled really quickly. The teachers worked hard to support her, especially in her final year, when they were there every evening and during school holidays to support her with her coursework and revision. We always found the communication between home and school good and despite what another reviewer said I always found reception polite and helpful. Longedendale is a really good school. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to other parents.”
