“Visited this place as the reviews on Google looked amazing. We arrived for brunch and we were greeted with a very friendly member of staff. The place was about 10% full, which was great for us! This place has a good selection of breakfast/brunch options, as well as many savoury, desserts, ice cream flavours and hot/cold drink options. I eat vegetarian, vegan and halal food. this place is 100% halal. We got the Berries, Pancake Stack, Turmeric Latte, Brioche French Toast and an Iced Latte. We did have to wait long for our order, however it was well worth it. The berries pancake stack that I had Was deliciously light and airy. I could tell it was made fresh. The menu did not mention the addition of chocolate sauce on the pancakes, however I wasn’t fussed about this. It was actually a nice addition to the dish. The turmeric latte was also tasty, and made me feel nice and warm. As turmeric does not properly mix properly with liquid, there was some turmeric left at the bottom of the mug, however I didn’t mind this. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this place and I highly recommend it to friends, couples and families!”

“Perfect local pub. Family friendly, great atmosphere, warm welcome and so, so friendly. Great range of beers and spirits and an unrivalled juke box. Large room for functions with djaying facilities and in the summer there are plenty of tables outside with beautiful views over the green and beyond, all the way to Winter Hill in Horwich. Thank you for making us feel at home. Lots of laughs and a great day/night. Stayed far too long! Will definitely return again and again and again! :-)”

“Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”

“Quality Barber very good price. The Barber is new and we just took our two lads in and he new exactly what to do and what styles they had. He's got an excellent eye for detail and even went half hour over his finishing time to fit my second lad in. They both love there hair cuts and my 4yr old loved the ferrari car chair. “Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “What a welcoming pub. A group of us visited after the Oldham vs Woking game on Tuesday night. We were away fans, but made to feel at home straight away! Christine & Jess looked after us so well and we were even bought a round of drinks from one of the locals. We will definitely recommend The Rifle Range and be sure to visit for longer next time.
