“Very surprised to read some of the poor comments on this excellent service. I have had 2 kids go through this service and I have honestly never seen such consistently high levels of professionalism, compassion and empathy. I understand that when your child is sick, it is easy to get upset, scared and emotional. These are normal reactions, particularly when mental health is concerned. However my experience is of a high quality service delivered by deeply committed professionals. I’d like to mention in particular Mr K Singh, Ms J Lowndes, Dr. Knott, and all the other practitioners that supported both my kids over the years. Thanks to their support, my kids are in much better places than they would’ve been. It is true that NHS waiting times to access CAMHS are extremely long, and I agree that this aspect of the system could and should be better. However, once families are seen, the quality of care provided should not be overshadowed by wider systemic pressures that are beyond the control of frontline staff. Our experience has been one of genuine care, skill and dedication, and I remain very grateful for the support my family received.”
“CAYP provided exactly the service we hoped for and needed. Dr Rhian Hudson completed a thorough assessment of our child's cognitive abilities, to identify any learning needs and inform teaching and support requirements. The final report is a high quality comprehensive document which details exactly what the issues are, as well as making helpful recommendations. We are very happy with the assessment process and with Dr Hudson's communication throughout. Highly recommended.”

“I can not recommend Marina and Peace of Mind highly enough, she had help me through some very troubled times with kindness and compassion, resulting in a very positive outcome. Thank you Marina and Peace of Mind”
“Excellent service. I booked in on their online scheduler and got a reminder the day before, which was very professional. Addison is very nice and really professional and reassuring. I was in a really bad way but within 3 sessions I felt great. I'm a new woman now thanks to Addison. He's a miracle worker! Thanks Addison.”
“I have had the benefit of instructing Dr Barsky for a number of clients psychological reports to be used in Regulatory and Criminal Defence and Mitigation. The reports have been comprehensive, in-depth and pertinent to the client and I believe have assisted not only the clients but the courts in being able to best dispose of the matter. Dr Barsky is clearly a leader in his field and one who has been respected by the courts with his balanced judgement of the issues before him.”
“Exceptional councilling. Really friendly and professional. Felt loads better for going, would highly recommend.”
“I have received therapy here from Dr Tina Perry and then, when she went on mat leave, Mr Patrick Doyle. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they have both really helped me and I would go back in the future should I need further treatment.”
“I started therapy with Thriving Young Minds in April, with my first session being the first time I had left the house all year. I’m writing this now having just done my last session in August, and it’s safe to say that I’ve made a huge amount of progress with my anxiety. I worked with Adele, who was really nice and helped me make a scale which I could gradually work on week by week. I agreed to set myself a goal after every session, and was given confidence and reassurance that I could achieve what I set out to do. I also spoke about other issues I’ve had with identity and understanding emotions, and I was given validation on everything that I brought up. I learned that it is okay to be experiencing some of the feelings that I have, which has helped to take a lot off my mind. It’s also worth noting that the general atmosphere and environment of the room I was in during my sessions was lovely and I felt safe at all times. Deciding to go here for therapy turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ll be going back to university next month, and for the first time this year I can actually say that I’m not dreading it. I couldn’t be any happier with how this experience has turned out, thank you so much. I can’t recommend this service enough.”
