“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. Drinks are also great value, with top brands served at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, no matter how busy it gets. “A lovely cafe with welcoming staff members. They are in the perfect spot for a bite to eat at the end of your walk. They accept cards as well as cash and the prices are reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”

“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

“We turned up as a party of 5, late notice on a Sunday evening after a long drive from the West Country. Despite the kitchen about to close, the lady who served us was extremely accommodating and we were soon served with absolutely lovely Sunday roast dinners; delicious food and plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a nice clean and friendly pub.”

“Going to swap my GP pharmacy from one in Hollins to Imaan's - came across it by accident after trying one round the corner who didn't have my medication in stock. Staff at Imaan's were unbelievably friendly and dispensed my prescription the fastest I've ever had by a considerable distance, literally within 2 minutes! Unheard of! I'll be changing my pharmacy preference to here now. Thanks guys.”

“The BEST NAAN so far!!!! After a shopping trip to IKEA thought we would drop by for a quick bite, never been to this place before and what a hidden gem it is. This place has a good atmosphere and the service was exceptional. There was so much on the menu and like all other sharwama places all the same, this place did the best and most delicious NAAN compared to other places the food here was excellent even the staff was friendly. We ordered the mince seekh kebab and chicken sharwarma, wanted the mix with lamb but its so popular it was gone. We was suprised when the staff brought us some lentil soup we was not expecting, that was tasty and a good dip to dip with the kebab and naan. The salad was non to fault it was very good even to the napkins lol the quality from start to finish was excellent The price was not bad either you get alot for the money, If you have not tried this place don’t walk, RUN to this hidden gem you will not be disappointed. Try out the NAAN.”

“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”
