“The BEST NAAN so far!!!! After a shopping trip to IKEA thought we would drop by for a quick bite, never been to this place before and what a hidden gem it is. This place has a good atmosphere and the service was exceptional. There was so much on the menu and like all other sharwama places all the same, this place did the best and most delicious NAAN compared to other places the food here was excellent even the staff was friendly. We ordered the mince seekh kebab and chicken sharwarma, wanted the mix with lamb but its so popular it was gone. We was suprised when the staff brought us some lentil soup we was not expecting, that was tasty and a good dip to dip with the kebab and naan. The salad was non to fault it was very good even to the napkins lol the quality from start to finish was excellent The price was not bad either you get alot for the money, If you have not tried this place don’t walk, RUN to this hidden gem you will not be disappointed. Try out the NAAN.”

“BBQ’D is honestly the best steakhouse in town! The food is amazing — my steak was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavour, with great sides to match. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always checking in to make sure everything’s spot on. “Went for midweek lunch with a friend , we both had the 2 course menu deal and drinks . Very quiet with few customers while we were there, nice friendly staff . Food was very good if on the small portion side , we had the steak and ale pie . Have been here in the past and it has always been a good experience .”

“Taste, variety and quality is great. Service is fast and polite. Prices are very affordable. They are also consistent - it has tasted the same every time I have had it. I wouldn't travel from far just to try it but if you are local, I highly recommend a visit. Just note that it is a small shop so there is no seating area.”

The Chicken tikka, Lamb Tikka, seekh and donner meats are all juicy and tasty and the medium sauce is also tasty. I gave it 5 stars because there wasn't an option to give 10. “Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Excellent friendly welcome, the owner took our order. We had to wait for our starters which meant they were freshly prepared (the restaurant was quiet with it being during the week), some restaurants just warm up the starters but not here! We really enjoyed our starters. The main courses arrived & were excellent! Also desserts were good and we ate everything. My wife enjoyed her wine and I had an excellent ice cold pint of water!(I was driving). Top marks for everything here. They are very child friendly too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the owner was too! We will be back!”

“I recently visited The Old Original for a lovely Sunday meal, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. My partner opted for the Sunday roast, and the roast beef was cooked to perfection — tender and full of flavor, without being pink. I went for the rag pudding with chips and mushy peas, and I must say, the peas were absolutely delicious! (as was the homemade chips and rag pudding).The gravy had a rich, meaty flavor that really enhanced the meal, not bland like some places can be. Plus, the portion sizes were generous, and everything was piping hot when served. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff making sure we had everything we needed. I chose from the fixed menu, and ended the meal with a lovely slice of chocolate fudge cake for dessert, which was a real treat! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. The pub has a warm, inviting atmosphere, complete with a candle on the table, and the rural setting with its lovely views makes it a perfect place to unwind. While the car park is a little on the small side, street parking is available, so it’s not too much of an issue. All in all, I would highly recommend this pub. The food, service, and overall experience were top-notch, and I can’t wait to return soon!”
