Looking as an outsider ...it's not good ...staff complacent to the children's lives whether it is bullying or illness mental or physical there's a feeling that they just don't give a dam...as long as it dosent happen on school grounds ..seems they don't teach morals anymore either just the curriculum..collect their paycheck and forget about their pupils ..time to pull their socks up..”

“My daughter left this school last year with fantastic results. She was always very happy and despite not knowing anyone when she started in year 7 she settled really quickly. The teachers worked hard to support her, especially in her final year, when they were there every evening and during school holidays to support her with her coursework and revision. We always found the communication between home and school good and despite what another reviewer said I always found reception polite and helpful. Longedendale is a really good school. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to other parents.”

“I am so pleased I chose this unique nursery for my daughter. She loves her days here, even when she is a bit apprehensive to leave me the ladies are so lovely and quick to update the baby's days app with pictures of all the interesting things she is getting up to, which puts my mind at ease. The nursery has such a lovely feel to it, different to other nurseries in the area. The updates you receive on the app throughout the day are reassuring which are then backed up by the big smile on my daughters face when I pick her up and the stories she has to tell me about her day. The singing, painting and puddings after lunch are some of her favourite things. I would definitely recommend the Yellow Door nursery, Michele and her Team!”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.”

“I can't fault this nursery my 7month old has been going here now for a while. The staff are all very professional with excellent standards for my child. He was nervous to start with and didn't want me to leave him but the staff made him feel welcome and now he has the brightest smile ever when I take him into the baby's room. “My son loves going to this nursery, as parents we think the nursery staff have a clear understanding and genuine caring nature for the children they look after. The bond that our child has with the nursery staff is fantastic. When our child first joined we were understandable anxious about him starting nursery however the staff made the transition as painless as possible & now he walks in (most days!) with no problem at all. Such a great atmosphere in the nursery & the children are always having such fun & making a lot of mess that they enjoy so much!!”
