“Country park in Royton with toilets, picnic areas, playground and cafe (only open weekends which is a shame) There's a largish car park but also parking on the approach road (if there's space).Lots of routes that are colour coded. Some are quite steep but if you have the strength to push a pram/wheelchair uphill the trails are wide and in good condition - mainly tarmac or hardcore. There are plenty of narrower trails off these for the more adventurous.”

When everything else was going wrong on moving day, from late payment from buyers, to hanging around for furniture to be removed from the house we were buying, the team just took it all in stride. “I rang Stuart for some advice on an issue with my clutch squeeling he quickly diagnosed the issue and picked my car up the day after from my house as I was unable to come away from work to take the car to him and dropped it back off the day after good as new , he was also very accommodating and respectful of my insurance Blackbox in my car . He kept me updated and even notified me of the exact issue with my old clutch and also some other small issue that required attention on my car and how and where I can source parts. I completely recommend Stuart at speedy clutch he did a great job on my Peugeot 107 will definitely use again in the future.”

“Beautiful scenery, there were a little rocky/sandy beach too. Lovely day out. We walked about 5 miles. It has ups and downs, so the surface is not flat which we liked. There was a pay and display carpark but the security didn't let us in as it was full. We parked up the road. Free of charge. Went in beginning of August.”

“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

“This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”

“Been with this dentist for years. So professional, kind and caring. I have very sensitive teeth and dont like going to the dentist however they make the experience a lot more pleasant and cater for my needs, nothing is to much trouble. Thankyou for being a fab. The only downside is the parking.”
