“Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

“I highly recommend this place for those who eat vegetarian or vegan. The food is delicious, especially the masala dosa, chana masala and poppadoms, and chutney tray. Also, the dessert carrot halwa with ice cream. The staff were friendly, and the dining area as well as the deli area was very impressive. I would come to visit again soon.”

“Open for 2months, were went for the first time and everyone loved it. We were quick to be seated, staff very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed the meal, the settings are very plush and modern. “Excellent friendly welcome, the owner took our order. We had to wait for our starters which meant they were freshly prepared (the restaurant was quiet with it being during the week), some restaurants just warm up the starters but not here! We really enjoyed our starters. The main courses arrived & were excellent! Also desserts were good and we ate everything. My wife enjoyed her wine and I had an excellent ice cold pint of water!(I was driving). Top marks for everything here. They are very child friendly too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the owner was too! We will be back!”

“We have been going to waterhead Tandoori for quite a few years now, and after promising we will leave a review, it's not before time. If you want excellent well prepared and cooked food, this is the place. The food is always excellent, the service is prompt, the premises are so clean you could literally eat your meal off the floor, and Al, is the nicest most polite guy you could ever hope to meet. He's always pleasant, upbeat, and is genuinely interested in how your day has been. The chefs are on full view hard at work, and everything seems to run like clockwork. Myself and Christine, cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks again to Al and his team of excellent chefs, we will continue to buy our curries from this clean, pleasant, well run establishment.
