“We were delighted when we collected our three dogs after a 9 day stay at Pine Lodge. They were happy, obviously pleased to see us and looked clean and cared for. As all three are long haired the obvious care to brushing and eye cleaning was noticeable. We saw lovely photographs of them running around and looking obviously happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pine Lodge as Sean and Julie have a very obvious natural ability and caring nature with the dogs. We have rebooked for their next stay and feel confident in leaving them with Julie and Sean at Pine Lodge. Definitely five star!”

“Yesterday I was walking with my baby and really needed somewhere to stop, feed and change my baby, and just to re charge as it was a stressful morning. I had dropped my car off, at a garage, in a different town miles from home. I entered the hotel and was kindly greeted by a lovely lady, who could clearly see I needed just a little help to get sorted. This lady was so kind and caring so I asked her name. The lady replied. “Irene”. I thanked her greatly for how warm and inviting she was towards me. I would like to thank you once again. Irene, you was a Rae of sunshine towards my baby and I. “Absolutely Amazing stay. Booked in for a whole 7 nights and it was so homely feeling. The rooms are absolutely terrific and spacious and most importantly the staff are just simply the BEST AND SO CARING FRIENDLY. just wanna mentioned a few of the staff I will certainly miss MAGS, FARAH, PHIL, PHEOBE. “We have stayed at the hotel quite a number of times over the years and cannot praise it enough. From the moment of stepping through the doors and into the reception area, you are made to feel so welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and the high end finish for a standard room was exceptional. We loved it! The food was excellent, too! As for the staff, well, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel! Special mention needs to be given to Billy behind the bar for his help, patience and guidance with 'something technical' that left me able to use a new mobile phone purchased from the Tesco store next door! So, location wise the hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants!”

“The hotel was great, good location for town centre, only 13 minutes from the family we went down to see. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely go back”

“I stayed at a Travelodge many years ago and it was pretty basic, I remember asking for an extra pillow and the staff disappeared and was never seen again, fast forward to Bolton's Travelodge and it was a totally different experience, the staff where helpful and welcoming, the room was basic but well proportioned and very clean, the bed was comfy. There was a bar and eating area with food on offer. My only niggle was the room was very hot and there is no A/C so had the have the window open, unfortunately it's quite close to a main road and it was like trying to sleep next to a race track, every person within a 20 mile radius that had a sports exhaust and a turbo was racing about till 4 am.”

“Had an amazing experience with them….. very nice place with free and secure parking their staff is quite nice and rooms are goods as per the price it quite cheap and room was clean comfortable. In toilet I would recommend rather giving soap bar, if they add body wash and hand wash would give nice impression….. really happy with them…. Planning to travel again soon”

“I stayed here for 6months plus and the owners where lovely always helping out, rooms cleaned every 3 days, was nice atmosphere used to play pool owners would keep pub open for us finishing work at 1 and get a few games of pool highly recommend joan and alan where the best i have stayed at in a long time thank you”

“Very Nice Place to relax. Kids, Young People and Adults also can visit here. There is playground here where kids can experience the outbound training activities. There is duck tank and kids enjoying to feed them. Walking path available along the duck tank and inside the park. Enough grass land inside the park. A lot of parking space available. Entrance is free. Ice cream van usually parked inside the park and the cost is bit high which is around 5GBP. Overall recommended place.”

“Went with 6 locals who we met in town , was made to feel very welcome even though most of them went home after one drink drunk , when we're next in Farnworth having a curry we will call in before and afterwards if not sooner, thanks to all that work there for making us feel welcomed.”

“I attended the Autumn Spa Day with my Mum today, which was a birthday gift. We had an absolutely lovely time, the facilities are wonderful, loved the various sauna/steam rooms etc available. The outdoor thermal pool was fabulous too. We also joined in with an aqua aerobics class which was on at the time and we really enjoyed it. To finish off we had a 50 minute treatment which was incredible, the girls were wonderful who did the treatments and made sure we were always happy & comfortable. The staff on the spa reception were also really helpful and happy to help us. Although the changing rooms were a little tired and in need on a facelift, it didn’t affect our visit whatsoever! We would definitely return!”

“Stayed here recently with family and small dog. Loved the decor and comfort of this house. Comfy bed and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. Located in a quiet cul de sac with parking. Owners very responsive when messaged and very helpful.”

“I would highly reccomend Debbie. She is so lovely and approachable and genuinely cares for your pet. She walks my dog 3 times a week around all the local areas he loves. We regularly receive pictures and updates after the walks and he is always happily exhausted when we return from a long day at work. 5* and a great big 'Woof' from our Labrador Ollie”

“Tramways is an amazing place took me in at one of my lowest points of my life and couldn't of made me feel anymore safe and comfortable saying tramways is CLEAN is a massive understatement you can smell the disinfectant and cleaning products every morning (very pleasant I may add) you see the cleaners working very hard most days under constant supervision from management rooms are comfortable warm and everything you would need and want any complaints are dealt with immediately and respectfully the cleaning and washing amenities are bang on and very timely no messing around and always have your stuff sorted and treated with respect they allow you to cook in there always immaculate kitchen until 11pm which is very fair you will always be treated with respect and genuine love from the amazing family running tramways I have loved my stay here and I won't ever forget being here and lift up this place has given me always be in my heart you couldn't ask for better place give me tramways over hilton any day purely on the fact people here are amazing so from the bottom of my heart I thank you for being there and treating me with the upmost respect and treating me so kindly thank Sonia nikki Mike Jeremy and even you shak you are amazing and kind people and the world needs more people like you it would certainly make it a better place and I will never forget what you all have done for me my appreciation couldn't be measured and I will always have nothing but great things to say about you all THANK YOU much love John barnes room 7 hermiones handbag nothing but the best of luck and good things in the future amazing people be proud of the amazing people you employ and please never stop doing what you do it makes a impact more than you will ever know and think”
