“Brilliant theatre. The oldest little theatre in the UK. Excellent regular variety of shows very well acted. Good bar area. The seating is comfortable and tiered so that all seats give a good view. Parking available next door with a lovely helpful chap who deserves a mention. Some notable present and past honorary members such as Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Sybil Thorndike and locally born Dame Wendy Hillier.”

“Thoroughly impressed! Our daughter has just finished her first term at the United Reform Church in Bramhall. Tutors are excellent and clearly very competent, they really seem able to engage the children and in the first term put on a 15-20min production where you could see all the children were having a blast. All the children remained engaged and all the parents were so proud! Highly recommend!”

“I popped into Coffee Block for a quick brew and a teacake, and it absolutely made my morning. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and cheerful — she greeted every person who walked in with a big smile and genuine warmth. It was lovely to see how she chatted with the regulars, taking the time to ask about their day. The atmosphere felt so positive and welcoming, and the coffee was spot on. “Nipped in for a meal being intrigued by the name of a pub as The White Lion with the picture of a zebra on the pub sign. The pub is under refurbishment. The service was perfect. We had 3 roasts and we were struggling to eat all of the food. One small criticism - the food was not hot enough. I made a special request about my drink and it was not a problem for the barman to accommodate it.”
